- Pat McAfee is ill with COVID-19, therefore Michael Cole is joined on commentary by Corey Graves and Kevin Owens.
- Becky Lynch kicks off the show, explaining how deadly she is now. She apologises for absolutely nothing that happened at SummerSlam, which brings out Bianca Belair. The EST of WWE asks for a rematch tonight, but Zelina Vega interrupts and says Belair should fall back and let her have a match instead. Carmella comes out to complain, as does Liv Morgan. Lynch refuses to face Belair tonight, leaving the ring instead. Morgan clears the ring of the rest of the women.
- Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match: Bianca Belair defeated Liv Morgan, Carmella, and Zelina Vega by lastly eliminating Morgan.
- Bianca Belair earned a SmackDown Women's Championship opportunity with her victory.
- Kayla Braxton questions Paul Heyman about his allegiances now that Brock Lesnar has returned. Heyman notes he stands at the side of The Tribal Chief, but is unable to gain access to Roman Reigns' locker room. He takes his frustration out on Braxton until The Usos appear. They say Heyman knew about Lesnar appearing at SummerSlam, but Heyman swears he did not know. The Usos are not convinced, however.
- Cesaro defeated Chad Gable by disqualification.
- Otis attacks Cesaro, with Chad Gable assisting in taking him out.
- Baron Corbin arrives in a fancy car looking much cleaner and happier, before telling Kayla Braxton that he is now filthy rich. After a commercial, he comes down to the ring and shows off. He was the Mayor of Jackpot City, showing a vignette of his journey. He asks Big E to come out to the ring, before offering to buy the Money in the Bank briefcase. Big E refuses, whilst Corbin leaves the ring.
- Earlier today, Edge shared his win over Seth Rollins has affected him. He is moving on to the WWE Universal Championship. Rollins congratulates Edge, adding he needs to be a little more like Edge to reclaim the WWE Universal Championship.
- Roman Reigns arrives and tells Paul Heyman to follow him into his locker room.
- King Nakamura and Rik Boogs defeated Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode by pinfall.
- Naomi is now on SmackDown, but Sonya Deville tells her she will need to measure up.
- Rey Mysterio tells Dominik Mysterio that he will be taking a step back.
- Sami Zayn defeated Dominik Mysterio by pinfall.
- Dominik Mysterio avoids his father post match.
- Backstage, Roman Reigns tells Paul Heyman he wants him out in the ring for the family celebration. In the ring, Heyman hypes up Reigns and The Usos, whilst highlighting Reigns' victory over John Cena at SummerSlam. Finn Balor interrupts, challenging Reigns to a match for the WWE Universal Championship next week. Balor attacks Reigns, whilst The Street Profits join in and take out The Usos.
