The WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Championship has changed hands as Io Shirai and Zoey Stark defeated The Way's Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell to win the titles at Great American Bash on July 6, 2021.
My immediate reaction: Wow! I didn't think this would happen at all. I figured Stark and Shirai were too mismatched to be champions and this was a stop gap until another tag team formed. I'm genuinely shocked about it, along with Tegan Nox's return.
