WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #354 - A Great American Bash

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, July 10, 2021

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. LA Knight [NR]

LA Knight performed a double-whammy at NXT's Great American Bash, as he successfully retained the Million Dollar Championship, and forced his rival Cameron Grimes into becoming his butler.

9. The Hurt Business [-4]

Continuing the build towards Money in the Bank, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley & MVP suffered a loss on Raw to The New Day.

8. Adam Cole [NR]

Making up for his defeat to Kyle O'Reilly at NXT Stand & Deliver, Adam Cole beat his former buddy at the Great American Bash to even the score to 1-1.

7. Hit Row [-3]

To celebrate Isaiah Scott capturing the North American Championship last week, the whole of Hit Row held a special Championship Cypher at the Great American Bash.

6. MSK [NR]

Despite the tough test posed by Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher at Great American Bash, MSK withstood their veterans wiles to retain the NXT Tag Team Championships.

5. Roman Reigns [-2]

Roman Reigns and Edge unleashed some of their pent-up aggression prior to Money in the Bank on SmackDown. And although The Usos looked to tip the scales in Reigns' favor, they were pushed by the returning Rey & Dominick Mysterio.

4. Bianca Belair [-2]

After Bayley suffered an unfortunate injury that looks set to rule her out of action for the rest of 2021, Bianca Belair learned that the new challenger for her SmackDown Women's Championship would be Carmella.

3. Nikki Cross [-2]

The great momentum that Nikki Cross has garnered in recent weeks was brought to a shuddering halt on Raw, as she was pinned by Nia Jax in an 8-Woman Tag.

2. Io Shirai & Zoey Stark [+5]

New champions were crowned at the Great American Bash, as the newly formed tandem of Io Shirai & Zoey Stark defeated The Way's Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell to become the new NXT Women's Tag Team Champions.

1. Shinsuke Nakamura [+5]

Shinsuke Nakamura must be hoping he can face Baron Corbin every week at this point, as his latest victory over the hapless former king earned Nakamura his place in the upcoming Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Lucha House Party - A rare and surprising victory on Raw for Lucha House Party, as they overcame the larger team of T-Bar & Mace.

Mustafa Ali - A former Retribution member that was more successful on Raw was Mustafa Ali, beating his 'student' Mansoor.

The New Day - A big victory in the main event of Raw for The New Day, as they defeated WWE Champion Bobby Lashley & MVP.

Shotzi & Nox - A great debut on SmackDown for the newly-christened team of Shotzi & Nox, beating the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Natalya & Tamina.

Seth Rollins - Seth Rollins secured the final spot in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match by overcoming his erstwhile foe Cesaro.
