The WWE NXT North American Championship has changed hands as Bronson Reed defeated Johnny Gargano to win the title on the May 18, 2021 edition of NXT in a steel cage match.
My immediate reaction: Glad to see Bronson Reed capture the title. Very cool. I thought it would happen at the last TakeOver and I'm not super into WWE perpetually dragging things out just for the sake of stalling and filling up more time with two-for-one type deals, but at least the match was good and we're going from one great champion to a guy who I think will be another very good one, too.
