WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #348 - Kross Keeps His Gold

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, May 29, 2021

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Charlotte Flair [NR]

For what feels like the 10th time in the last couple of months, Charlotte Flair battled Asuka on Monday's edition of Raw. In a typically good match between the pair, Flair was able to roll-up Asuka to earn a shot at Rhea Ripley's Raw Women's Championship at Hell in a Cell.

9. The Usos [NR]

The Usos made a winning return to tag team action on SmackDown this week, defeating the former long-time Tag Team Champions The Street Profits.

8. Apollo Crews [-3]

The Intercontinental Champion suffered a DQ loss this week on SmackDown due to Commander Azeez assaulting Kevin Owens.

7. Karrion Kross [NR]

In a highly promoted NXT Championship rematch, Karrion Kross retained the title against Finn Balor this past Tuesday.

6. Rhea Ripley [-4]

Raw Women's Champion Rhea Ripley allowed herself to be baited into a 2-Minute Challenge Match with Nikki Cross on Monday night, and lost due to spending too long beating up her opponent.

5. The Mysterios [+2]

Newly crowned SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Mysterios successfully defended their titles for the first time on Friday. This time, Dominik had to go alone against The Dirty Dawgz for a long time, and still managing to sneak the win.

4. The Hurt Business [-1]

Bobby Lashley was not in competition this week, but he and MVP did get physical. They interrupted the match between Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston that would have determined the next challenger for Lashley's WWE Championship.

3. Natalya & Tamina [+3]

The Women's Tag Team Champions are in fantastic form at the moment. On Raw, they once again defended their titles against former champs Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax, and then also beat The Riott Squad in a non-title match on SmackDown.

2. Roman Reigns [-1]

Again, no in-ring action for Roman Reigns this week as he focused on chastising his cousin Jey Uso. And, as of right now, there is no clear challenger lined up for the Universal Champion at Hell in a Cell.

1. Bianca Belair [+3]

Despite Bayley being a distraction on commentary, SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair scored a victory on Friday over a former champion, Carmella.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

RKBro - In Raw's best match by a distance, Riddle beat Xavier Woods using his partner Randy Orton's finisher, the RKO.

Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon - It will be yet another rematch for the NXT Women's Championship after Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon defeated Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai on Tuesday.

Pete Dunne - A very capable win for Pete Dunne over Bobby Fish on NXT, leading into his Triple Threat Number One Contender's Match next week.

Franky Monet - A successful debut performance for Franky Monet on NXT this week as she handily overcame Cora Jade.

Shinsuke Nakamura - A second consecutive win for the crown-snatcher Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown, this time defeating Chad Gable.
