WWE Title Change: New SmackDown Women's Champion Crowned at WrestleMania 37 Night 1 | Smark Out Moment

The WWE SmackDown Women's Championship has changed hands as Bianca Belair defeated Sasha Banks to win the title at WrestleMania 37 on April 10, 2021.

My immediate reaction: This had to happen. WWE has to have learned from some of the mistakes of the past where Asuka failed to beat Charlotte Flair, Shinsuke Nakamura failed to beat AJ Styles and so on. You can't set people up for a monumental win and then say "Ha! Got you! They actually aren't as good!" and then hope to build them back up again. Then again, the build for this was terrible in all ways, so at least they got this part right. Belair deserves the title and this match was FANTASTIC.

Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
