WWE Title Change: New Intercontinental Champion Crowned at WrestleMania 37 Night 2 | Smark Out Moment

The WWE Intercontinental Championship has changed hands as Apollo Crews defeated Big E to win the title at WrestleMania 37 on April 11, 2021.

My immediate reaction: I was 50/50 on this one. This was their seventh match, so it felt like Crews needed to win it. However, Big E is a Tampa guy, so I was at a loss. WWE seems to like having people lose in their home areas, if not just to get the biggest amount of boos, it seems. I'm not sure this was the right direction. Then again, I wouldn't have had seven matches between these two to drag them out until WrestleMania to begin with, so......but hey, Babatunde....

Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
