- Cesaro kicks off the show in the ring, but Seth Rollins comes out to interrupt him. Rollins notes being in the ring him at WrestleMania allowed Cesaro to fulfill his potential. He suggests the rain delay caused him to lose, but Jey Uso comes out and kicks off at Cesaro. Rollins suggests they team up and teach Cesaro a lesson, but Daniel Bryan comes out and scares them off, noting he has infinite respect for Cesaro. Roman Reigns' music hits and he comes out with Paul Heyman, who reminds everyone that he promised what would happen at WrestleMania. Reigns departs for the back, and after the commercial break, all four men are brawling in the ring before their match starts.
- Daniel Bryan and Cesaro defeated Seth Rollins and Jey Uso by pinfall.
- Daniel Bryan calls out Roman Reigns, but Cesaro swings Jey Uso instead. As Reigns still refuses to come out, Cesaro goes to swing Uso again. Bryan announces that Reigns is scared Cesaro will defeat him for the WWE Universal Championship.
- Apollo Crews and Azeez confront Adam Pearce, angry that Crews has to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship tonight against Kevin Owens.
- Reggie is back, accompanying Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler to the ring.
- Jey Uso is pissed backstage.
- Tamina defeated Nia Jax by pinfall.
- Kayla Braxton interviews Kevin Owens, who states that he has been waiting for the opportunity to battle for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Big E arrives, and states that Owens jumped the line to recieve a title shot, adding that it is his title, not Crews' or Owens'.
- Daniel Bryan tells Adam Pearce to do more than try to set up Roman Reigns vs Cesaro.
- Apollo Crews defeated Kevin Owens by pinfall to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
- Kevin Owens gave Apollo Crews a Stunner, but Azeez took Owens out to stand tall. Sami Zayn then dances over Owens' prone body.
- Kayla Braxton interviews Paul Heyman, asking him if Roman Reigns will accept Cesaro's challenge. Heyman notes Reigns will give his answer tonight.
- Apollo Crews gloats backstage about retaining his title, but Big E attacks him. Azeez arrives and looks pissed.
- A video package airs for Aleister Black, who appears to be repackaged as a heel Pagan religious leader. He says that what people do is vile, and they should be scorched from the earth.
- Kayla Braxton interviews Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. The Street Profits interrupt, whilst Bayley tries to intervene. Bayley reveals that she will be facing Bianca Belair at WrestleMania Backlash. Montez Ford calls Belair, who says she will be right there. Following the commercial break, Belair arrives and intimidates Bayley, who backtracks on what she had been saying. Bayley then laughs and walks away.
- Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio defeated Alpha Academy by pinfall.
- Cesaro and Daniel Bryan are in the ring, with Cesaro demanding Roman Reigns come out to give him an answer. The Tribal Chief comes out, talking down to Cesaro. Reigns challenges Bryan, as he has never liked him. He offers one final shot at WWE Universal Championship to Bryan, but when Bryan loses, Reigns wants him to disappear. Bryan accepts.
