WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #343 - Raw Stuck On Repeat

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, April 24, 2021

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Asuka [NR]

While the result was helped by a big assist by Rhea Ripley at ringside, Asuka scored a flash pin over Charlotte Flair in Raw's main event, infuriating The Queen to attack the referee post-match.

9. Natalya & Tamina [NR]

The pair of second-generation superstars still remain in the hunt for the Women's Tag Team Championships, as Tamina delivered a rare pinfall loss to Nia Jax on Friday's edition of SmackDown to follow Natalya's victory over Shayna Baszler last week.

8. Sheamus [-3]

Sheamus decided to issue an open challenge for his United States Championship this week, but before Humberto Carrillo could answer the call, the champion assaulted him brutally and walked away.

7. Kushida [NR]

A first successful title defense for the new Cruiserweight Champion Kushida, as he defeated Oney Lorcan. But, a post-match beatdown by Legata del Fantasma indicates that Kushida isn't finished with Santos Escobar yet.

6. Rhea Ripley [-2]

The Raw Women's Champion was ringside to watch Charlotte Flair battle Asuka in the main event of Raw. Rhea Ripley's brief distraction ended up costing Flair the match against the former champ.

5. Cesaro [+3]

Cesaro continues to be pushed strong in his march to a seemingly inevitable clash with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in the near future, as he and Daniel Bryan overcame Seth Rollins & Jey Uso in a tag match on SmackDown.

4. Bianca Belair [-1]

We moved another step closer to Bianca Belair's first SmackDown Women's Championship defense on Friday's show, as she was talked at by Bayley in a backstage segment.

3. Apollo Crews [+3]

With a big assist to Commander Azeez in his corner, Apollo Crews defended his Intercontinental Championship against Kevin Owens on SmackDown.

2. The Hurt Business [-1]

The main man of The Hurt Business, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, was nowhere to be seen on Monday's Raw, leaving MVP to exchange words with Drew McIntyre instead.

1. Roman Reigns [+1]

However, the Universal Champion was in attendance at SmackDown and did his typically strong trash-talk towards both Cesaro and Daniel Bryan, giving the latter a final opportunity next week to challenge him for his title.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

The Viking Raiders - Two wins in two weeks over the same two people for the reunited Viking Raiders, as they once again defeated Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander on Raw.

Riddle - Fresh off of losing his United States Championship at WrestleMania and being squashed by Bobby Lashley the following Raw, Riddle bounced back this week with a surprise victory over Randy Orton.

Kyle O'Reilly - Cool Kyle O'Reilly was back on NXT this week following his war with Adam Cole, and marked his return by calling out Karrion Kross and beating Cameron Grimes in the night's main event.

Daniel Bryan - Daniel Bryan teamed with Cesaro to earn a victory over Seth Rollins & Jey Uso on SmackDown, and will get one last chance to capture the Universal Championship from Roman Reigns next week.

The Mysterios - A win for Rey & Dominik Mysterio over Alpha Academy means they may be next in line for a SmackDown Tag Team Championship shot.

BIGGEST MOVES THIS WEEK

Apollo Crews & Cesaro +3

Sheamus -3
