Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?
This is the final Power Rankings of the 2020/2021 season, with WrestleMania 37 marking the start of the 2021/2022 campaign. As such, I am pleased to announce that, with 45 weeks' worth of appearances on this year's Power Rankings, Drew McIntyre was the most consistently well-booked performer of the year.
In terms of 1st place finishes, The Hurt Business stands atop the pile of performers, racking up 12 weeks at #1, just pipping Asuka to this accolade as she could only muster 11 weeks.
Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:
NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut
10. Kyle O'Reilly [NR]
Capping off the two nights of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Kyle O'Reilly took his revenge against his former Undisputed Era accomplice Adam Cole in a violent and drawn-out main event.9. MSK [NR]
Taking another leap after their Dusty Tag Team Classic triumph, MSK captured the NXT Tag Team Championships for the first time by overcoming both Grizzled Young Veterans and Legata del Fantasma.8. The New Day [+1]
Taking that final piece of momentum heading into WrestleMania 37, Xavier Woods defeated AJ Styles in singles competition ahead of The New Day's Raw Tag Team Championship title defense.7. Imperium [NR]
The indomitable Walter asserted his dominance once again this week, not only by outlasting the challenge of Tommaso Ciampa for his United Kingdom Championship at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, but then repeating the feat over Rampage Brown at TakeOver: Prelude.6. Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez [NR]
An imperious title reign that did come to an end at TakeOver Stand & Deliver though was the NXT Women's Championship run of Io Shirai, as the powerful and vicious Raquel Gonzalez wrenched the gold out of the hands of the Genius of the Sky.5. Karrion Kross [NR]
Another new champion crowned at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver was Karrion Kross. In what many consider his best match since joining NXT, Kross withstood Finn Balor's relentless attacks and fought back to reclaim the NXT Championship that he never lost all those months ago.4. Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax [-2]
Although Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax did secure a big win over Asuka & Rhea Ripley on Raw, that only came as a direct result of Ripley taking out Asuka during the match. On SmackDown, however, Jax had to be saved by Baszler during a match with Tamina Snuka ahead of their WrestleMania title defense.3. Drew McIntyre [+1]
Drew McIntyre will open WrestleMania 37 with the momentum he needs to recapture the WWE Championship from Bobby Lashley after scoring a win over King Corbin in the main event of Monday's Raw.2. Riddle [+1]
United States Champion Riddle prepared for his clash with Sheamus over the title at WrestleMania by once again beating Mustafa Ali in a warm-up singles bout.1. The Hurt Business [No Change]
Bobby Lashley's Almighty Era stays atop the final Power Rankings of 2020/2021 after he outmuscled his former Hurt Business buddy Cedric Alexander in a fairly one-sided clash on this past week's Raw.HONORABLE MENTIONS
Legata del Fantasma - Although they couldn't capture the NXT Tag Team Championships on Wednesday night, on Thursday Santos Escobar asserted his status as the undisputed Cruiserweight Champion by beating Jordan Devlin in a solid ladder match.
The Way - Another faction with a mixed bag at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell couldn't seize control of the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships, but Johnny Gargano did further his reign with the North American Championship with a victory over Bronson Reed..
Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon - Another successful title defense by Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon on Thursday night, defeating The Way.
The Dirty Dogs - Overcoming three teams in a Fatal Four-Way clash, The Dirty Dogs remain your SmackDown Tag Team Champions for now.
Jey Uso - With a final elimination of Shinsuke Nakamura, Jey Uso was victorious in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on Friday's edition of SmackDown.
