WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #339 - Fastlane Fallout | Smark Out Moment

WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #339 - Fastlane Fallout

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, March 27, 2021

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Seth Rollins [NR]

Seth Rollins did the double over Shinsuke Nakamura this week, beating him first at Fastlane and following this up with another victory on SmackDown, although this did place Rollins in the crosshairs of Cesaro.

9. Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon [NR]

Unlike their predecessors as NXT Women's Tag Team Champions, Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon got their first title defense under their belts this week by defeating the odd couple pairing of Mercedes Martinez & Aaliyah.

8. Drew McIntyre [NR]

Drew McIntyre finally drew a line under his recent wars with Sheamus by beating him in a No Holds Barred Match at Fastlane. The former WWE Champion then cleared his path to WrestleMania on Monday's Raw by beating Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander in a Handicap Match, ensuring they would be barred from ringside at Mania.

7. Bianca Belair [+1]

Once again Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks were unable to get on the same page at Fastlane, failing to capture the Women's Tag Team Championships from Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax. Belair received a slap for her troubles, but she returned the favor to Banks on SmackDown on her path to beating Natalya.

6. Io Shirai [-4]

A heavy fall for Io Shirai that mirrors her experience on NXT this week. The NXT Women's Champion teamed with Zoey Stark in a defeat to Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez, and post-match her giant challenger for the title at TakeOver splattered Shirai across the announce table.

5. The New Day [+1]

Prior to their Raw Tag Team Championship defense at WrestleMania, The New Day gained some early momentum over their challengers when Kofi Kingston defeated AJ Styles on Monday night.

4. Roman Reigns [+1]

It was something of a tainted victory for Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Fastlane. Although he technically defeated Daniel Bryan, that only came after plenty of shenanigans involving Jey Uso and Edge, with Reigns at one point tapping out to Bryan's submission.

3. The Hurt Business [-2]

While things remain brilliant at the summit of The Hurt Business, with Bobby Lashley once again beating Sheamus in Raw's opener, the rest of the faction is starting to splinter. Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander failed to win their Handicap Match with Drew McIntyre on Raw, drawing the contempt of both Lashley and MVP.

2. Riddle [+1]

Another week, another successful title defense for Riddle, as he overcame Mustafa Ali at Fastlane and consequently caused the downfall of Retribution as a faction.

1. Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax [+2]

Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax's unwavering dominance over the Women's Tag Team Division shows no signs of slowing. They retained their championships over Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair at Fastlane, and then swatted aside Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke on Raw.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Big E - Big E retained the Intercontinental Championship over Apollo Crews at Fastlane, but then suffered a post-match beatdown and a loss to Crews in a Six-Man Tag on SmackDown.

Braun Strowman - A pair of dominant wins this week for the conductor of the Strowman Express, as he beat Elias back-to-back at Fastlane and on Raw.

Alexa Bliss - In a bizarre sequence at Fastlane, Alexa Bliss used the return of The Fiend to help her defeat Randy Orton.

Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez - A dominant performance by Raquel Gonzalez ensured her and Dakota Kai earned an imposing win over Io Shirai & Zoey Stark on NXT.

Jordan Devlin - In a match overwhelmed by outside interference, Jordan Devlin did score a victory over the hard-to-beat Kushida on Wednesday's NXT.

The Power Rankings Table (since WrestleMania 36)

  1. Drew McIntyre - 43 weeks (8 weeks at #1)
  2. The Hurt Business - 39 weeks (10 weeks at #1)
  3. Asuka - 38 weeks (11 weeks at #1)
