WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #337 - NXT's Night Of Champions | Smark Out Moment

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Daniel Bryan [-1]

Although he wasn't in action this week, Daniel Bryan had two strong segments on the microphone on Friday's SmackDown, getting under the skin of both Roman Reigns and Edge, before laying out the latter with a running knee to end the show.

9. Big E [NR]

The Intercontinental Champion returned to SmackDown intent on getting revenge on Apollo Crews. But when he didn't show up, Big E issued an open challenge for his title, where he soundly defeated Sami Zayn, before again being the victim of a cowardly attack by the Nigerian Prince.

8. Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon [NR]

In the first ever match for the newly-minted NXT Women's Tag Team Championships, Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon dethroned the incumbent champs Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez to cut their reign off at just over an hour long.

7. Bianca Belair [-3]

Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks' feud continues to be overcomplicated to the detriment of both performers, as on SmackDown they're uneasy tag team suffered defeat to Natalya & Tamina Snuka thanks to that persistent pest Reginald.

6. Riddle [+2]

United States Champion Riddle bounced back from his loss last week by beating Retribution member Slapjack, building momentum for this Monday's title defense against the group's obsessed leader Ali.

5. Finn Balor [NR]

The Prince cemented his spot at the top of NXT in this Wednesday's main event, overcoming the challenge of Adam Cole, partly thanks to a timely distraction by Kyle O'Reilly, before setting his sights on a long-discussed challenger: Karrion Kross.

4. Roman Reigns [-1]

During his contract signing with Daniel Bryan on SmackDown, the Universal Champion Roman Reigns looked uncharacteristically 'gotten to', and was later forced out of the ring by the combined efforts of Bryan and Edge.

3. Io Shirai [+4]

NXT's longest-running championship reign survived yet another challenge this week, as Io Shirai finally got the better of Toni Storm in a one-on-one contest for the NXT Women's Championship. Now, Shirai has her sights set on arguably her biggest challenge to date - Raquel Gonzalez.

2. The Hurt Business [-1]

Bobby Lashley seemingly ended his involvement with The Miz on Monday's Raw by successfully defending the WWE Championship in a rematch of last week's squash. But, it wasn't a perfect night for The Hurt Business as Shelton Benjamin suffered a loss to The New Day's Xavier Woods.

1. Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax [+1]

Another week, another successful title defense for the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax knocked back the challenge of Naomi & Lana on Monday's Raw, and stopped by on SmackDown to cause more friction between their next challengers Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

The New Day - A good win for Xavier Woods over Shelton Benjamin on Raw gives The New Day the momentum heading into their Tag Team Championship match next week.

AJ Styles - Continuing his recent strong form, AJ Styles took advantage of Randy Orton's bizarre condition at the hands of Alexa Bliss to pick up a win over The Viper in Monday's main event..

Pete Dunne - A confident win by Pete Dunne on NXT over Jake Atlas has left the Bruiserweight looking for a technical wrestler that can match up with him at the upcoming TakeOver..

The Street Profits - The Street Profits are still on the trail for a SmackDown Tag Team Championship rematch, and helped their case on Friday with Montez Ford pinning Robert Roode in an 8-man tag.

Natalya & Tamina Snuka - Taking advantage of a distracted Sasha Banks in particular, Natalya & Tamina Snuka picked up a victory over the SmackDown Women's Championship match at WrestleMania by pinning Bianca Belair..

The Power Rankings Table (since WrestleMania 36)

  1. Drew McIntyre - 42 weeks (8 weeks at #1)
