WWE Title Change: New WWE Champion Crowned at Elimination Chamber 2021

Posted by Anthony Mango Sunday, February 21, 2021

The WWE Championship has changed hands as The Miz defeated Drew McIntyre by pinfall to win the title at the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on February 21, 2021 after cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase.

My immediate reaction: I didn't think they'd do it, but despite how I'm happy The Miz is a two-time champion, I think this screams of WWE having no idea what to do and just pulling random stuff out in the hopes to get people talking. I hope I'm proven wrong about that. I don't want to see swerves for the sake of swerves over the next few weeks and all. For that matter, I'm not interested in Bobby Lashley against Drew McIntyre, either, if that's where this is going.

Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
