WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #334 - Who Had A Happy Vengeance Day? | Smark Out Moment

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Edge [-6]

Edge appeared on SmackDown alone this week as he remains mute on his intentions for WrestleMania 37. But that led to him eating a Spear from Roman Reigns at the end of the show, with the Universal Champion looking to make Edge's choice for him.

9. Finn Balor [NR]

Finn Balor withstood the challenge of Pete Dunne at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day, keeping his claws on the NXT Championship. But since then it's been all downhill. Post-match on Sunday Balor was superkicked by Adam Cole, and then was pinned by Dunne in a six-man tag on Wednesday.

8. Cesaro [+1]

The Swiss Superman continues to gain momentum as he prepares to enter the Elimination Chamber on Sunday, as Cesaro teamed with Daniel Bryan & Kevin Owens to defeat Jey Uso, King Corbin & Sami Zayn in SmackDown's main event.

7. Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez [NR]

Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez made history at Vengeance Day as the first female tag team to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They overcame Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon to capture the trophy, earning them a future Women's Tag Team Championship activity.

6. Io Shirai [NR]

The long, impressive reign of Io Shirai survived Vengeance Day intact, as the Genius of the Sky overcame the dual threats of Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez in a Triple Threat Match.

5. The Hurt Business [-2]

A similar pattern to recent weeks for The Hurt Business, as the combination of MVP, Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander lost to Riddle & Lucha House Party, only for Bobby Lashley to beat the hell out of Riddle following the match.

4. MSK [+3]

Over on the men's side of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, MSK won their final against perennial runners-up The Grizzled Young Veterans, earning the upstart new team an opportunity at the NXT Tag Team Champions.

3. Bianca Belair [+2]

Continuing her friendly relationship with SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair teamed with her and Reginald on Friday night to defeat Bayley, Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax in a six-person tag.

2. Big E [-1]

Big E took a hell of a beating on SmackDown this week courtesy of Apollo Crews and the steel steps, building towards another inevitable Intercontinental Championship clash between the two.

1. Roman Reigns [+1]

Roman Reigns already enters Elimination Chamber on Sunday in an already favorable position to retain his Universal Championship. But on SmackDown the Tribal Chief made his plans for WrestleMania more vivid by spearing Edge at the close of the show.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

The Way - A mixed week for The Way. On the positive side of the equation, Johnny Gargano retained his North American Championship over Kushida at Vengeance Day. However, Austin Theory was briefly kidnapped by Dexter Lumis, and Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell lost to Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon on Wednesday.

Sheamus - Sheamus gave himself the advantage heading into Elimination Chamber by winning Raw's Gauntlet Match, pinning an already battle-worn WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

Zoey Stark - An effective debut squash match for Zoey Stark on NXT, beating Valentina Feroz with relative ease.

Sasha Banks - Sasha Banks has maintained a friendly relationship with potential challenger Bianca Belair on SmackDown, and teamed with her and Reginald to beat Bayley, Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax.

Daniel Bryan - Daniel Bryan earned the decision for the team of him, Cesaro & Kevin Owens over Jey Uso, King Corbin & Sami Zayn in SmackDown's main event.
