The WWE Raw Tag Team Championship has changed hands as The Hurt Business defeated The New Day to win the titles at the WWE TLC 2020 pay-per-view event.
My immediate reaction: I figured this had to happen. Out of all the belts to possibly change hands on this card, this was the one I felt the most confident in by far. The Hurt Business deserve to be tag champs and The New Day has long already reached the point where they can have shorter reigns and it's totally okay. In fact, I'm all for it. The New Day is arguably my favorite tag team in the past dozen years or longer and I want them to beat all the records, so let's get those boys some more title reigns. In order to do that, they have to drop the belts, and since they're fully established at this point, they don't need to have each reign go 5 months long. Meanwhile, this helps legitimize The Hurt Business so much more since they're holding three out of the five belts they can win on Raw. Now give MVP the 24/7 title, too, so they can all pose with gold.
Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
