WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #323 - The End Of Year Slump

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, December 5, 2020

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Daniel Bryan [NR]

In a fun SmackDown Six-Man Tag to honor the memory of the late Pat Patterson, Daniel Bryan tied up Sami Zayn in a Small Package to earn a victory over the Intercontinental Champion.

9. Shotzi Blackheart [NR]

In yet another Ladder Match to main event NXT, Shotzi Blackheart defeated Raquel Gonzalez to earn the Woman Advantage for the babyface team at WarGames.

8. The New Day [-5]

The New Day's ongoing battles with The Hurt Business saw them come up short on Raw, as Xavier Woods suffered a loss to Cedric Alexander.

7. Lana [+1]

Lana's revenge against Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax continued to build momentum on Monday night, as she again teamed with Raw Women's Champion Asuka to beat the Women's Tag Team Champions.

6. Drew McIntyre [+1]

While it came via a DQ, Drew McIntyre was able to secure a win in Raw's main event, teaming with Sheamus against The Miz & John Morrison, as well as fight off both them and AJ Styles when they attempted to cash-in on the WWE Champion.

5. Sasha Banks [-1]

No in-ring action for Sasha Banks this week as she instead contested a war of words with Carmella instead, with that match now setup for TLC with the SmackDown Women's Championship up for grabs.

4. The Hurt Business [+1]

Cedric Alexander went some way to earning The Hurt Business yet another shot at the Raw Tag Team Championships on Monday when he overcame The New Day's Xavier Woods.

3. AJ Styles [+3]

AJ Styles is back in the WWE Championship picture after he defeated Riddle and Keith Lee in a Triple Threat Match, earning the opportunity to challenge Drew McIntyre at TLC.

2. Roman Reigns [-1]

The Universal Champion continues to rule SmackDown with an iron fist. Even though he technically lost in Friday's main event tag match by DQ, Roman Reigns was the one standing tall at the end after beating the hell out of Otis, Kevin Owens and Jey Uso throughout the night.

1. Asuka [+1]

The Raw Women's Champion is looking to add another belt to her collection right now, as Asuka teamed up with Lana to beat the Women's Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax in a non-title match.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Jeff Hardy - In the second-ever Symphony of Destruction Match, Jeff Hardy defeated Elias on Raw in the latest installment of their feud.

Leon Ruff - The North American Champion picked up a win alongside Damian Priest over Legata Del Fantasma.

Natalya - In a bizarre result booking-wise, Natalya forced Bayley to tap out on SmackDown.

King Corbin - King Corbin, now backed-up by former Forgotten Sons Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake, got the better of Murphy on Friday night.

Kevin Owens - While he certainly didn't feel like a winner at the end of SmackDown following a Roman Reigns beatdown, Kevin Owens technically did score a victory over him and Jey Uso in Friday's main event.

The Power Rankings Table (since WrestleMania 36)

  1. Drew McIntyre - 34 weeks (8 weeks at #1)
