- AJ Styles, Sami Zayn and Jeff Hardy kick off the show with an ascension ceremony, moderated by Corey Graves. Styles claims to be the rightful owner of the Intercontinental Championship, whilst Zayn calls Hardy a fraudulent Champion. Zayn and Hardy attach their titles to the hook, with Zayn attacking both Hardy and Styles with a ladder. Adam Pearce comes out to add Styles to Zayn's match with Hardy.
- Sami Zayn defeated Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles by pinfall.
- AJ Styles attacked Sami Zayn and Jeff Hardy with a ladder post match before retrieving the titles from the hook.
- Kayla Braxton interviews Heavy Machinery. Otis says The Miz's lawyers will not be taking the Money in the Bank contract off him, whilst The Miz taunts Otis about how his lawyers will bankrupt him. Otis takes out John Morrison before being restrained by WWE personnel.
- Bayley comes to the entrance ramp with the steel chair she used on Sasha Banks. She has no time to waste on Banks, therefore she is preparing for her upcoming SmackDown Women's Championship match with Nikki Cross.
- Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Gran Metalik by pinfall.
- Cesaro attacked Lince Dorado post match whilst Kalisto remained outside of the ring. Dorado shoves Kalisto to the ground in anger.
- Jey Uso knocks on the dressing room door of Roman Reigns as we go to commercial.
- A tribute airs for Road Warrior Animal.
- Jey Uso comes out to the ring to say he will keep it in the family and interview Roman Reigns himself. Uso asks him to come to the ring, but Reigns stays backstage with Paul Heyman. Heyman leaves the dressing room to say the WWE universe deserves to hear what Reigns has to say, but it will happen when The Tribal Chief is ready tonight.
- King Corbin says he will make Matt Riddle experience unbearable pain and excruciating agony tonight.
- King Corbin defeated Matt Riddle by pinfall.
- Kayla Braxton interviews Matt Riddle in the ring, who says he will continue to grind until SmackDown is The Bro Show.
- Another vignette airs for the mysterious woman.
- Lacey Evans defeated Alexa Bliss by disqualification.
- Alexa Bliss hits a Sister Abigail on Lacey Evans, followed by The Fiend coming on the titantron. Bliss smiles as she enters her trance, before staring daggers at Roman Reigns as he makes his way to the ring.
- Paul Heyman starts to speak, but he is interrupted by Jey Uso coming down to the ring. Roman Reigns says he would give Uso the title if he could, but the truth is, he would not know what to do with it. Their family depends on Reigns being The Tribal Chief. Reigns and Heyman leave the ring, but Uso asks what if Reigns is wrong. He says he will defeat Reigns at Clash of Champions for the WWE Universal Championship. As Uso prepares to go backstage, he is attacked by Reigns. He tells Uso to take his payday, as well as the ass whupping that comes with it. Reigns poses as we go off the air.
