Smark Out Moment

Tonight's episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for August 7, 2020 is coming to you live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. • A video package is shown detailing the feud between Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt.
• Bray Wyatt is here for a Firefly Fun House segment. He addresses the haters who blame him for last week's actions, but it is actually Braun Strowman who is to blame. HE will be here later with someone special.
• Matt Riddle defeated Sheamus by DQ.
• Shorty G attacks Matt Riddle for the DQ, but Riddle fights back and slams Shorty G into the announce table and the steel steps. Sheamus throws Shorty G into the ring and Brogue kicks him, and follows this up by shouting at him on the microphone. Sheamus hits one last Brogue Kick on Shorty G.
• Sheamus warns King Corbin backstage that he will kick his ass if he tries to interfere in his matches like Shorty G did. Corbin does not seem impressed.
• The Dirt Sheet is here. A recap of the savage attack on Mandy Rose from last week is shown. The Miz experiences audio issues as John Morrison makes a reference to the new stable from Raw. Rose's so called hair is being interviewed, with Morrison providing the voice as The Miz conducts the interview. The Miz calls Sonya Deville the real victim, and invites her to come down to the ring. Deville calls herself everything that Rose is not, and cannot understand why people think she is in the wrong. Deville adds that she promised to take out Rose, which is exactly what she did. Heavy Machinery storm the ring when The Miz starts insulting Otis and Rose, with The Miz and Morrison hastily leaving the ring as we go to commerical.
• Cesaro defeated Lince Dorado by pinfall.
• Otis is furious backstage. He says The Miz and John Morrison crossed the line, whilst Sonya Deville's actions last week were despicable.
• The Fiend is here on SmackDown and he makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial. He is in the ring with Alexa Bliss as we return, with The Fiend crawling around the ring as Bliss looks on in terror. He attempts to slap the Mandible Claw on her, only for Bliss to stop him and stroke his mask with affection. As The Fiend pulls away, Braun Strowman calls him a saddistic bastard from the titantron, noting he doesn't care about Bliss. All he cares about is destroying Bray Wyatt. He has been pushed to his breaking point, and has let out what he has kept in all this time in order to fulfill his destiny. He is a monster, the thing nightmares are made of, and he will face The Fiend at SummerSlam.
• Jeff Hardy defeated King Corbin by DQ.
• Sheamus attacks Jeff Hardy for the DQ as revenge for his own DQ earlier in the show.
• Sheamus defeated King Corbin by pinfall.
• Matt Riddle causes a distraction to allow Sheamus to pick up the victory.
• Bayley and Sasha Banks are informed they will be having a conference with Stephanie McMahon in the ring as we go to commercial.
• Big E is interviewed as he explains what kind of wrestler he is, and what he could have potentially acheived.
• Bayley and Sasha Banks are in the ring whilst Stephanie McMahon addresses them over the titantron. She praises them for what they have acheived, before setting them a challenge. Sasha Banks will defend her Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam, whilst Bayley will take on the winner of a triple brand women's Battle Royal for her SmackDown Women's Championship at SummerSlam.
• The Miz and John Morrison insult Heavy Machinery whilst being interviewed.
• Heavy Machinery and The Miz & John Morrison went to a no contest.
• Mandy Rose attacked Sonya Deville which resulted in a no contest. Rose and Deville are separated as we go to commercial.
• As we return, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are being separated backstage until the lights go out. RETRIBUTION storms the ring with weapons and scare off the announcers. They proclaim SmackDown 'their house' and run off the cameramen, before turning on the Performance Center recruits. They circle like a pack of wolves around one woman, taking her out before returning to the ring. RETRIBUTION destroy the announce table and start spray painting the plexiglass, steel steps and ring canvas. They finally take out a chainsaw and cut the ring ropes as they celebrate in the ring whilst the show goes off the air.
