Smark Out Moment

It's crazy that NXT TakeOver XXX will mark 30 (technically 31) pay-per-views for the black and gold brand on August 22, 2020.

Over the years, the C-show has gone from a reality competition obstacle course fiasco to the foundational structure WWE depends on to build its future to becoming a legitimate third show on par with Raw and SmackDown.

To help commemorate this time, we're bringing back an old gimmick here at Smark Out Moment that hasn't been seen in a while called TOP ROPE LISTS.

In an effort to spice things up, rather than for this to just be one list and that's it, this feature has been adjusted to play more into how things like Mount Rushmore work, where there needs to be a consensus made at some point.

The Smack Talk panel will read their lists, starting with the bottom, and if someone has that entry considerably higher on theirs, the discussion will be given a rest hold and saved for later. Once everyone has gone through their full lists, the panel will debate based on those rankings until they've agreed to make their combined list.

The key goal for anything on these lists is to make it to the top three spots, which are #3 Bottom Rope (bronze medal), #2 Middle Rope (silver medal) and #1 Top Rope (gold medal) distinctions.

For this edition, we're actually taking the 30 number to heart, in a sense. But rather than doing a top 30, we're going to do a top 10 for the men's division, top 10 for the women's division and then figuring out a top 10 overall.
