- Dark Order attack The Young Bucks as they make their entrance.
- The Young Bucks defeated Stu Grayson & Evil Uno by pinfall.
- MJF addresses his staff backstage and acts like an ass.
- Kenny Omega calls The Young Bucks the greatest tag team of all time.
- MJF comes out for an address as we go to commercial. Once we return, MJF berates Nina before revelling in his statistics. He cares about the well being of the AEW faithful, noting Jon Moxley is a dictator. He is afraid of MJF and change, with the AEW World Champion not used to working with someone like himself. MJF lays in the middle of the ring, claiming this is the comfort zone of Moxley, and implores Moxley to hand the keys over to him. AEW deserves better. Moxley's music starts which panics MJF into sending his staff out to stop him, only for Moxley to find a way to the ring and attack MJF from behind. Moxley hits a Paradigm Shift and announces he will teach MJF a painful lesson in humility at All Out.
- Matt Hardy announces he will be clear to compete in 10 days following last week's attack. He notes Sammy Guevara will be ended, before attacking a backstage hand who he believed to be Guevara.
- Cody defeated Scorpio Sky by pinfall to retain the AEW TNT Championship.
- Brodie Lee addresses Cody from the screen and confirms he will take the AEW TNT Championship from Cody on the August 22 show. Tick tock.
- Private Party call The Hardy Boyz the greatest tag team of all time.
- Hangman Adam Page & Kenny Omega defeated Jurassic Express by pinfall to retain the AEW Tag Team Championship.
- Santana & Ortiz destroy the luggage of Best Friends backstage.
- The Butcher and The Blade call The Road Warriors the greatest tag team of all time.
- Tag team appreciation night starts in the ring, with The Young Bucks praising The Rock 'N' Roll Express for inspiring them to become wrestlers. FTR also praise The Rock 'N' Roll Express for inspiring them. Both teams are in turn praised by The Rock 'N' Roll Express whilst Arn Anderson calls FTR the best team in the world. Tully Blanchard gets fiesty with The Rock 'N' Roll Express before noting neither FTR nor The Young Bucks are the AEW Tag Team Champions, so they cannot call themselves the best. Blanchard questions Anderson's connection to Cody before tempers flare in the ring, with Ricky Morton throwing a punch onto Blanchard. Shawn Spears turns up to take Blanchard away as FTR take out The Rock 'N' Roll Express in the ring. Kenny Omega and Adam Page join The Young Bucks in the ring as they tend to the elder statesmen.
- Chris Jericho states he wants Mike Chioda to referee his match tonight.
- Sammy Guevara taunts Matt Hardy with his signs.
- Hikaru Shida defeated Heather Monroe by submission.
