WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #305 - What A Horror Show

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, July 25, 2020
Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Jeff Hardy [NR]

In the main event of this week's SmackDown, Jeff Hardy overcame Sheamus in the big Bar Fight to (hopefully) cap off their recent feud.

9. Braun Strowman [-4]

While it wasn't exactly clear-cut, Braun Strowman fell victim to Bray Wyatt in the Swamp Fight at Extreme Rules. The Monster Among Men was pulled into the water as The Fiend made his return, and the Universal Champion was nowhere to be seen on SmackDown.

8. The Greater Good [NR]

Seth Rollins' eyes survived Extreme Rules on Sunday as he gouged out Rey Mysterio's eyeball in their heated grudge match. While Murphy didn't have the same kind of luck in his kick-off match with Kevin Owens, Rollins followed his victory on PPV with a win over Aleister Black on Raw.

7. Kevin Owens [+2]

Kevin Owens couldn't make the main card of Extreme Rules, but made the most of his time on the Kick-Off Show by defeating Murphy.

6. Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura [NR]

For the seventh time Cesaro sits atop a tag team division, as he and Shinsuke Nakamura won a Tables Match with The New Day at Extreme Rules.

5. Hurt Business [-1]

While Apollo Crews' no-show means that MVP is still the self-proclaimed United States Champion, he suffered a loss the following night on Raw, teaming with Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin against Mustafa Ali, Ricochet & Cedric Alexander.

4. Keith Lee [-2]

Keith Lee's shoulders became a little lighter on NXT as he surrendered the North American Championship, and then was left to watch his frienemy Dominik Dijakovic be destroyed by Karrion Kross.

3. Drew McIntyre [+5]

Drew McIntyre overcame the unfair stipulation that Dolph Ziggler presented at Extreme Rules, successfully defending his WWE Championship against the Show-Off.

2. The Kabuki Warriors [+1]

A mixed week for The Kabuki Warriors. While Asuka didn't lose her Raw Women's Championship to Sasha Banks at Extreme Rules, she's no longer in possession of her belt. But, Kairi Sane bounced back for the team with a win over SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley on Raw.

1. The Golden Role Models [No Change]

The Golden Role Models keep their place on top of the Power Rankings after a successful Extreme Rules. Bayley kept hold of her SmackDown Women's Championship against Nikki Cross, and Sasha Banks, while not strictly victorious over Asuka, walked away from the show in possession of the Raw Women's Championship.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Bray Wyatt - In the horrible Swamp Fight that closed Extreme Rules, Bray Wyatt "beat" Braun Strowman thanks to the reappearance of The Fiend.

Randy Orton - In Raw's Unsanctioned Match, Randy Orton defeated Big Show in a battle of the veterans.

Mustafa Ali - A successful return to the ring for Mustafa Ali, as he pinned the pseudo-United States Champion MVP in a Six-Man Tag on Raw.

Bronson Reed - Bronson Reed secured his spot in the North American Championship Ladder Match by defeating Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong on NXT.

Karrion Kross - A vicious victory by Karrion Kross over Dominik Dijakovic on NXT keeps him on course for a title match with Keith Lee down the line.
