  • Randy Orton comes down to the ring to kick off this week's show as we get a recap of last week's unsanctioned match with The Big Show. For 20 years he has been called various names such as The Legend Killer, The Viper and The Apex Predator. He has been a 12 time World Champion and his fellow wrestlers cannot hold a candle to his accomplishments and accolades. But something is missing which he couldn't put his finger on until this morning. He desires becoming WWE Champion again, noting how Drew McIntyre showed fire and desire to become WWE Champion after being fired. McIntyre now has a problem as he holds what Orton wants, and he takes from people what he wants in the biggest way possible. At SummerSlam, he wants to face McIntyre and RKO him for the title.
  • Nia Jax comes out and addresses how like Randy Orton wants to be WWE Champion, she wants to be Raw Women's Champion. She taunts how Charlotte Flair hasn't been since she took her out, only to have Shayna Baszler come down to the ring and address Jax, noting no-one gives a damn what she wants. Jax attacks Baszler as they separated by referees.
  • The Street Profits are in the ring as we return from commercial. They are excited to announce the winner of the next contest will face them at SummerSlam for their Raw Tag Team Championship. They proceed to announce each team as they enter the match.
  • Andrade and Angel Garza defeated The Viking Raiders, Ricochet and Cedric Alexander by pinfall.
  • Andrade and Angel Garza attack The Street Profits and then head to the ramp.
  • Nia Jax is shown conferring with a referee backstage in preparation for her upcoming match with Shayna Baszler.
  • Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax ended by double countout.
  • Nia Jax attacks a WWE official after the match, whilst Shayna Baszler is held back by referees.
  • A video package is shown for the Seth Rollins vs Rey Mysterio feud. Rollins is backstage in a suit with Murphy, whilst Murphy is concerned Dominik will turn up tonight. Rollins believes he will turn up, telling Murphy not to worry as the greater good will move forward tonight.
  • Seth Rollins comes out to the ring flanked by Murphy. He boasts about his victory over Rey Mysterio at Extreme Rules, but he is not in a great mood because Dominik is here tonight to confront The Monday Night Messiah. Every time the greater good takes a step forward, somebody gets in his way. He wants to do things the right way, therefore to avoid confrontation he will invite Dominik to the ring to hash out their issues face to face, man to man. Dominik comes down to the ring and is offered guidance by Rollins, but Dominik attacks him before being double teamed by Rollins and Murphy. Dominik is absolutely decimated outside the ring, however Aleister Black arrives to even the numbers, but his injured arm is targeted as he is taken out by Rollins. Rollins slaps Murphy and tells him that he knows what he needs to do, with Murphy proceeding to take out Black's eye using the steel steps. Dominik defends himself with a kendo stick on Murphy, with Rollins fleeing the scene of destruction.
  • Mustafa Ali is backstage with R-Truth, with Truth asking if Ali is targeting the 24/7 Championship. Ali informs him that he is only focused on his match with Bobby Lashley.
  • The VIP Lounge is opened by MVP, who notes The Hurt Business are better than everyone else. He had the opportunity last week to meet Mustafa Ali, and tonight he wants to help him see the light. Ali comes down to the ring and says he put The Hurt Business out of business. He is happy to be back on Raw with an opportunity to climb the ladder and become a real champion. MVP warns Ali that he is not thinking straight, advising him not to take the same path Apollo Crews took. MVP asks Ali to make his decision, only for R-Truth to attack Shelton Benjamin and attempt to take the 24/7 Championship off him as we go to commercial.
  • Bobby Lashley defeated Mustafa Ali by submission.
  • Charly Caruso asks Dolph Ziggler how he feels about Drew McIntyre setting the stipulation for their match. He says he is not bothered.
  • A video package airs detailing the controversy surrounding the Raw Women's Championship.
  • Bayley comes out to the ring to support Sasha Banks. Banks runs down Stephanie McMahon in the ring, whilst Bayley highlights how much better they are than everyone else in addition to justifying her actions at Extreme Rules. Banks adds she and Bayley have done everything they said they would do. Asuka comes out to the ring and is supported by Kairi Sane, with Sane running Bayley off to the back before the match starts.
  • Sasha Banks defeated Asuka by countout to capture the Raw Women's Championship.
  • Asuka comforts an injured Kairi Sane backstage as Sasha Banks and Bayley celebrate in the ring.
  • Charly Caruso notes Kairi Sane is being seen to by medical staff. Bayley and Sasha Banks arrive and celebrate Banks' title victory. Asuka arrives and goes berserk when asked how Sane is doing.
  • A tribute to Regis Philbin is shown.
  • Murphy defeated Humberto Carrillo by pinfall.
  • A video package recapping Drew McIntyre vs Dolph Ziggler at Extreme Rules is shown.
  • Drew McIntyre comes out to the ring and addresses the comments made earlier by Randy Orton. McIntyre confirms it is official he will face Orton at SummerSlam for the WWE Championship. He agrees Orton is on fire and is taking everyone out, noting people may see him as the underdog. McIntyre hopes Orton does underestimate him, as he will do the same to Orton as he did to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. Dolph Ziggler comes out to the ring and demands to know the stipulation for their match, with McIntyre confirming it is a standard Extreme Rules match in which both wrestlers can use weapons.
  • Drew McIntyre defeated Dolph Ziggler by pinfall.
  • Randy Orton takes out Drew McIntyre with an RKO after his match to stand tall with the WWE Championship as we go off the air.
