AEW Dynamite Results: July 22, 2020 Highlights

Tonight's episode of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite for July 22, 2020 took place at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Here are the results of the show including highlights of all the matches, the winners, promos and more!

TV Results for All Elite Wrestling Wednesday Night Dynamite

  • Eddie Kingston makes his AEW debut and answers Cody's open challenge for the AEW TNT Championship. Cody agrees to Kingston's request for a no DQ match.
  • Cody defeated Eddie Kingston by submission to retain the AEW TNT Championship.
  • Jon Moxley delivered a promo earlier today to gloat over tendons and ligaments snapping in Brian Cage's arm when he defeated him last week at Fight for the Fallen. He won't let go next time.
  • MJF taunts Griff Garrison and attacks him for highlighting how he lost at tag team match.
  • MJF defeated Griff Garrison by pinfall.
  • Britt Baker discusses the continuation of the conspiracy with Tony Schiavone backstage. She notes she wants to make a triumphant return like Tiger Woods, Rocky and Michael Jordan, only for Schiavone to inform her that Jordan never succeeded with the Washington Wizards. Regardless, Baker is returning soon.
  • Taz explains he and Brian Cage had a difficult week in which Cage nearly fired him, but he explained why he threw in the towel last week at Fight for the Fallen. It was a business decision, with Taz giving Moxley credit for what he did. He adds that Cage will never be in a position to tap again in AEW, but Darby Allin comes out to interfere. Before he can get to the ring, Ricky Starks takes him out and proceeds to destroy him in the ring. Moxley turns up with a barbed wire bat to clear the ring.
  • A video package airs for AEW's women's division and the upcoming Women's Tag Team Tournament: The Deadly Draw.
  • Chris Jericho complains about how Orange Cassidy ruined his $7,000 white jacket, which is now stained orange.
  • The Young Bucks defeated The Butcher and The Blade by pinfall.
  • Lance Archer is asked why he wasn't at Fight for the Fallen, so in his frustration he takes out a number of personnel backstage.
  • Diamante defeated Ivelisse by pinfall.
  • The Dark Order came out to the ring to watch Hangman Adam Page vs Five.
  • Hangman Adam Page defeated Five by pinfall.
  • Brodie Lee joins the rest of The Dark Order with Colt Cabana and addressed how he is impressed with Hagman Adam Page, but he is not impressed by Page's lack of a tag team partner when he is in immediate danger. He notes The Dark Order can protect him as they would never leave him alone, but Page says he is not ready to join a cult. Lee says Page has just made his bed, and he returns backstage with Cabana whilst the rest of The Dark Order attack Page. FTR come to the aid of Page, with Kenny Omega finally making his way to the ring.
  • Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Page will defend their AEW Tag Team Championship against The Dark Order next week, whilst Hikaru Shida goes one on one with Diamante in a non title match. Additionally, Jon Moxley and Darby Allin will take on Brian Cage and Ricky Starks.
  • Chris Jericho and Jake Hager defeated Jurassic Express by pinfall.
  • Serpentico appears to have joined Inner Circle, only to reveal it was actually Sammy Guevara. Inner Circle attack Jurassic Express as Orange Cassidy and Best Friends come out to clear off Inner Circle.
  • Next week we have Inner Circle vs Jurassic Express, Orange Cassidy and Best Friends.
