- Tonight's episode of Smackdown kicks off with a video package dedicated to The Undertaker taking us from the start of his career right up to the last episode of "The Last Ride" where Taker appeared to retire from in ring competition.
- The show opens with the entire smackdown roster gathered around the entrance way chanting "Thank you Taker" as Michael Cole and Corey Graves inform us that tonight's episode of smackdown will be a tribute to the deadman. We get confirmation that we'll be hearing from many WWE superstars and legends throughout the night including Mick Foley, Batista and Roman Reigns.
- We get video package showcasing The Undertaker's debut match back at Survivor Series 1990 before Graves leads us into what is being described as the "final match of The Undertaker" against AJ Styles in a boneyard match from Wrestlemania 36.
- We come back from commercial and get some words from Roman Reigns and John Cena before leading straight into the boneyard match.
- The boneyard match dominates most of tonights show, inter spliced with tributes from superstars from The Undertaker's past.
- Baron Corbin comes out to run down The Undertaker, he’s eventually interrupted by Jeff Hardy who takes him out. These two are gonna have a match in tonight’s main event
- We get a fatal four way number one contenders match for the Smackdown women’s championship, Alexa Bliss vs Lacey Evans vs Dana Brooke vs Nikki Cross. Bayley and Sasha Banks are on commentary before Nikki Cross gets the eventual win to become the new number one contender.
- Next up we have The Miz, John Morrison, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro taking on The Lucha House Party and The New Day in 8 man tag team action. The babyfaces eventually pick up the win with Gran Metalik pinning The Miz.
- Universal champion Braun Strowman comes out for a promo where he challenges Bray Wyatt to a match in “Bray’s Swamp”, Braun goes on to call Bray the devil whilst Wyatt’s laugh is heard throughout the performance centre.
- Main event time now as Jeff Hardy defeats Baron Corbin. After the match Corbin goes to attack Hardy but is eventually beaten down by The New Day, Braun Strowman and Matt Riddle. Smackdown goes off air the same way it started with “Thank You Taker” chants.
