Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:
NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut
10. Apollo Crews [-5]
An inactive week for the new United States Champion, as Apollo Crews instead watched from the sidelines on Raw as Andrade earned a rematch for the title by winning a Triple Threat over Angel Garza and Kevin Owens.
9. The Kabuki Warriors [-2]
Double-duty for Asuka on Raw this week. In the night's opener, the Raw Women's Champion teamed with Charlotte Flair to defeat The Role Models and The IIconics. However, a post-match attack led to a main event clash between Asuka and Flair in the main event, which Flair won following a distraction by Nia Jax.
8. Aleister Black [+1]
Aleister Black's feud with Seth Rollins and his disciples continued on Raw, as he and Humberto Carrillo defeated Murphy & Austin Theory, but then suffered a 3-on-2 beatdown after the bell.
7. Io Shirai [NR]
After nearly 2 years in WWE, Io Shirai finally climbed the summit of NXT at In Your House. The Genius of the Sky overcame Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley to capture the Women's Championship in the night's main event.
6. AJ Styles [NR]
Over on SmackDown another new champion was crowned, as AJ Styles defeated Daniel Bryan in the tournament finals to win the vacant Intercontinental Championship. This marks the Phenomenal One's first reign with the title, and a big uptick from being buried by The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
5. The Undisputed Era [NR]
The Undisputed Era rapidly rise up the Power Rankings thanks largely to the efforts of their leader and remaining NXT Champion Adam Cole. Cole defeated The Velveteen Dream once and for all at In Your House, and followed this up with a victory over Dream's strange ally Dexter Lumis on Wednesday.
4. The Role Models [-3]
After capturing the Women's Tag Team Championships last week, Bayley & Sasha Banks took the road pretty much all holders of those belts have taken by immediately losing their next match on Raw to a thrown-together team of Asuka and Charlotte Flair.
3. Drew McIntyre [-1]
The WWE Champion appeared on The VIP Lounge on Raw and then witnessed his challenger Bobby Lashley & MVP defeat The Viking Raiders. Is Drew McIntyre's reign in jeopardy at Backlash?
2. Charlotte Flair [+1]
It was set to be a bad week for Charlotte Flair, as at In Your House she lost her NXT Women's Championship to Io Shirai. But, as The Queen often does, she turned disappointment into even more momentum, as on Raw she won two matches - a tag team victory with Asuka, and then defeating the Raw Women's Champion in the main event.
1. Braun Strowman [+3]
For the first time this year The Universal Champion tops the Power Rankings, after Braun Strowman was victorious in SmackDown's main event, teaming with Heavy Machinery to defeat The Miz, John Morrison & Dolph Ziggler.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Andrade - Andrade will have the chance at Backlash to reclaim the United States Championship after he won a Triple Threat Number One Contender's match against Angel Garza and Kevin Owens.
Keith Lee - At In Your House, Keith Lee kept hold of his North American Championship over Johnny Gargano, although this euphoria was dampened on Wednesday when Lee & Mia Yim lost to Gargano & Candice LeRae.
Finn Balor - Two victories in a week for Finn Balor, as the Irishman overcame both Damian Priest at In Your House and then Cameron Grimes on NXT.
Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura - On Friday, Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura earned a slightly surprising win over the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day.
Karrion Kross - Following an impressive and decisive victory over Tommaso Ciampa at In Your House, it appears Karrion Kross is being positioned for the next NXT Championship opportunity.
