WWE Monday Night Raw
Natalya & Liv Morgan vs The IIconics
The IIconics were determined to prove they are still a force to be reckoned with in WWE’s women’s tag team division, therefore this match was the perfect answer to those who doubted them.
The IIconics didn’t dominate the match, but they had control over the majority of it. Both Natalya and Liv Morgan tried their hardest, but they were ultimately unable to work effectively as a team. Morgan was isolated, with Peyton Royce hitting a Fall From Grace for the pinfall victory.
The match was good, but the post match promo was even better. The IIconics looked strong, and they look like a force to be reckoned with.
Winner: The IIconics
Rating: 2.5/5
Asuka vs Nia Jax
Why did we have to experience this match again? It was a shame to see these two compete at Backlash, however the finish to this match left me questioning why Nia Jax had been protected.
After yet another disappointing performance, Asuka secured the pinfall with a roll up. It was not fun. It was not interesting. And I do not want to see this again.
Winner: Asuka
Rating: 1.5/5
WWE SmackDown
Nikki Cross vs Sasha Banks
Nikki Cross has finally snapped over the treatment she receives from Bayley and Sasha Banks, with Banks stepping into the ring to try and silence her.
Both of these wrestlers put on a strong performance, with Cross coming across really well. Banks continued to underline just how talented she is in the ring, whilst Cross seemed motivated to match the high level of performance from her adversary. Banks was able to counter a pinfall attempt and hit a stiff looking Knee Strike to win the match.
This was a great match, with both performers looking strong. Banks continues to impress, whilst Cross proved once again that she is more than just a psychopath.
Winner: Sasha Banks
Rating: 3/5
WWE NXT UK
There were no new women's matches this week.
WWE NXT
Xia Li vs Aliyah
The less said about this match, the better. Xia Li and Aliyah both have no credibility in NXT, which meant this match was flat and uninteresting. Aliyah stole the victory following a very messy roll up, which made the match look even worse than it normally would have.
The action was unimpressive, although both women were given such little time to put on a show that they cannot be fully blamed for this train wreck.
Winner: Aliyah
Rating: 1.5/5
Kayden Carter vs Dakota Kai
Dakota Kai swiftly defeated Kayden Carter to reaffirm just why she is one of the standard bearers of NXT’s women’s division. Since her heel turn, Kai has been pretty successful in most of her matches. This one was no different as she controlled the pace of the match expertly, submitting Carter with a Koji Clutch.
This was a good match, with Carter and Kai both impressing with the small amount of time they had. Kai continues to look dominant as she marches towards the NXT Women’s Championship, whilst Carter didn’t lose much in defeat.
Winner: Dakota Kai
Rating: 2.5/5
Bayley & Sasha Banks vs Tegan Nox & Shotzi Blackheart
This match was for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, with Bayley and Sasha Banks returning to their spiritual home. Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart were not prepared to roll out the welcome mat for the Champions as they put their all into this encounter.
The action was not as one sided as Bayley and Banks would have liked, with Nox and Blackheart putting on a strong performance. It was Nox arguing with the referee that proved to be the downfall of the challengers, as Banks took advantage of this and locked in the Banks Statement for the submission victory.
After this strong match, Io Shirai appeared and took out the Champions with ease. This suggests Bayley and Banks may be returning to NXT once more, if only to settle the score with the new NXT Women’s Champion. This match was a solid and entertaining main event to a fabulous episode of NXT.
Winner: Bayley & Sasha Banks
Rating: 3.5/5
AEW Dynamite
Anna Jay vs Abadon
Abadon made her AEW debut this week, dominating Anna Jay in such a scarily intense manner. She left nothing to the imagination as she destroyed Jay, choking her out before hitting a Hurricanrana for the pinfall victory.
This was a solid match in which to debut Abadon, as she has a unique look whilst looking adept in the ring. I expect to see her looking strong for a while, and hopefully this could be quite the shrewd acquisition by AEW.
Winner: Abadon
Rating: 2/5
Impact Wrestling
Kimber Lee vs Neveah
Neveah recently aligned with Havok against Kimber Lee, therefore this match presented Lee with an opportunity for revenge. Unfortunately, Lee was unable to take advantage of this as she fell to Neveah and her deadly Twisting DDT.
This was a satisfactory match, however both wrestlers would have benefitted from at least double the time they were allocated with.
Winner: Neveah
Rating: 2/5
MATCH OF THE WEEK:
Bayley & Sasha Banks vs Tegan Nox & Shotzi Blackheart
Bayley & Sasha Banks vs Tegan Nox & Shotzi Blackheart
This was a great tag team match, with Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart proving they deserve to be considered in the same league as Bayley and Sasha Banks. The match was fun, exciting and deserved the main event spot.

This week we have not one, but two wrestlers who deserve the Woman of the Week title. The IIconics once again underlined how talented they can be, showing a clear improvement in their promo skills whilst winning a match in a decisive fashion.
