WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #297 - New United States Champion | Smark Out Moment
Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Timothy Thatcher [NR]

After a brief but tumultuous partnership/rivalry, Timothy Thatcher drew a line under his feud with Matt Riddle by forcing him to pass in NXT's first-ever Pit Fight.

9. Drake Maverick [NR]

Although the finish was disputed to say the least, Drake Maverick snuck in to defeat Jake Atlas and Kushida to earn the chance to battle El Hijo del Fantasma for the Interim Cruiserweight Championship.

8. Daniel Bryan [NR]

When his original opponent for the night Jeff Hardy was taken out of commission, Daniel Bryan instead battled and beat Sheamus in the semi-final of the Intercontinental Championship tournament, and AJ Styles is next on the agenda.

7. Nia Jax [NR]

Nia Jax sealed her position as the first challenger for Asuka's Raw Women's Championship on Monday night, as she defeated Natalya and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat match.

6. Apollo Crews [NR]

There was a brand new United States Champion crowned on Monday night. A couple of weeks after returning from "injury", Apollo Crews overcame Andrade to capture his first championship since joining WWE.

5. The Kabuki Warriors [-2]

Asuka's only involvement on Raw this week was sitting on commentary to see Nia Jax become her first challenger, while Kairi Sane was nowhere to be seen after last week's backstage assault by Jax.

4. Charlotte Flair [+1]

A mixed bag for Charlotte Flair, as the NXT Women's Champion wasn't able to earn a shot at Asuka's Raw Women's Championship after losing out in a Triple Threat to Nia Jax. But, Flair rebounded on Wednesday, teaming with Chelsea Green to defeat Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai.

3. Braun Strowman [-1]

The Universal Champion's influence on this week's SmackDown was markedly limited, as very little was accomplished in the way of building Braun Strowman's title defense against Miz & Morrison at Backlash.

2. Drew McIntyre [-1]

Drew McIntyre was also missing from in-ring action this week, as he was a guest on MVP's VIP Lounge to help build his upcoming WWE Championship match with Bobby Lashley.

1. The Role Models [+3]

The Role Models rise up the Power Rankings after putting the Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross on notice on SmackDown, with Sasha Banks beating Bliss in a one-on-one match.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Angel Garza - In somewhat of an upset, Angel Garza tore at the knee of Kevin Owens in their match and converted that into a win over a former Universal Champion.

Seth Rollins' Crew - While there is still no established name for the collective of Seth Rollins, Murphy & Austin Theory, they got off on the right foot with Murphy & Theory defeating Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo.

Chelsea Green - Taking full advantage of a big opportunity on Wednesday, Chelsea Green helped NXT Women's Champion Charlotte Flair defeat Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai.

Shorty G - While he wasn't able to win SmackDown's Battle Royal opener, Shorty G did have something to celebrate when he defeated Cesaro later in the night.

Sheamus - Sheamus overcame a flurry of superstars in SmackDown's Battle Royal, earning the right to challenge Daniel Bryan for an opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship. However, thanks to a Jeff Hardy distraction, Bryan won that encounter.
