WWE Worlds Collide: NXT vs. NXT UK Spoilers

Eight-Man Tag Team Match: The Undisputed ERA vs. Imperium

So far, this is the only thing announced. It makes a lot of sense, particularly if Imperium were to win the NXT UK Tag Team Championship. That way, all the male champions would be in the same match together. The only real alternative would have been to put Adam Cole against WALTER and Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish against the NXT UK tag team champions (Gallus or whoever). Then, that would have left Roderick Strong out of the mix, and since there's no midcard belt on NXT UK, the way around that would have had to be to either create one or have him put the North American title on the line against someone from NXT UK. Overall, this is a more efficient way to do things and gives fans a "must-see" match that is easier to book, as you don't need Cole or WALTER to lose.

I'm leaning toward Imperium winning after Gargano, Ciampa, and others screw ERA.

PREDICTION: Imperium wins.

NXT Women's Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Toni Storm

It was weird that they announced this ahead of time and that we're getting Storm fighting for this title rather than a champion vs. champion setup with Kay Lee Ray. I guess they feel Storm vs. Ripley is a selling point because it was an established feud and they're bigger names. I'm underwhelmed, though. I feel like this is just Ripley retaining (partially because they already announced that she will have a match at Portland against the battle royal winner and it's extremely unlikely they would just switch the title to Storm). This makes this feel like a throwaway match and hurts the event, even though both Ripley and Storm are talented as hell. It's not their fault that this doesn't seem epic.

PREDICTION: Rhea Ripley wins.

Finn Balor vs. Ilja Dragunov

Neat. This could be a rock solid match. I could see either one of them coming out on top and it being okay, but ultimately, Ilja Dragunov should put up a good fight and come up short. Balor looking stronger heading into TakeOver: Portland is a bigger priority than giving Dragunov a random win.

Then again...if Gargano screws Balor over....hm....

PREDICTION: 50/50 on this one.

NXT Cruiserweight Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: Angel Garza (c) vs. Isaiah "Swerve" Scott vs. Jordan Devlin vs. Travis Banks

This should be a really good match, considering the folks involved. I don't think it will be a MOTY candidate, but if they're given enough time, this could be 20 solid minutes of pure energy.

I fully expect Garza to retain by pinning Banks. He seems like he's the weak link out of the bunch and I can't imagine they'd take the belt off Garza so soon.

PREDICTION: Angel Garza retains the title.

DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate)

Random tag team match happening just because the crowd who will watch this will definitely dig it. Even though it means nothing...I dig it, too.

PREDICTION: DIY wins.

NXT UK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray vs. Mia Yim

It seems this may be non-title. If that's the case...why? Just have Ray win while putting the belt on the line to make it fair in comparison to Storm facing Ripley for the title.

PREDICTION: Kay Lee Ray wins.
