WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton

This was the biggest match they could have put on, given the situation the roster is in. Anything else would have felt like they were dodging doing Orton vs. McIntyre.

As far as the winner of this, it's tough. I can definitely see a case for both of them coming out with the title. Orton's doing his best work in years, while McIntyre has been a rather strong champion who doesn't need to drop the belt by any means.

Do they put it on The Legend Killer and make him the priority push for Raw for the next year heading into WrestleMania? That seems like a long stretch and I don't feel like there are enough babyface options worth Orton fighting for the title for nearly a whole year. But if they have Drew retain, how does he do that without ruining Orton's momentum?

Tough call, but I'm interested, that's for sure.

PREDICTION: It depends, but I think McIntyre would probably retain. That's far from a certainty, though. Orton's been on fire.

Universal Championship Falls Count Anywhere Match: Braun Strowman (c) vs. Bray Wyatt

I had thought Roman Reigns or King Corbin could be potential opponents. Now, I'm fully set on the idea WWE is just doing Wyatt again and trying to milk that for everything they can. I'm not all that into it, but if this is a straight-up No DQ match in an actual ring without stupid gimmicks, perhaps, then maybe it could be good. More than anything, I just hope Strowman retains the title. I don't want The Fiend as champion again by any means.

Curious why they had Strowman say he doesn't give a damn about Alexa Bliss. That was pretty harsh. Maybe she screws him out of it and joins Wyatt?

PREDICTION: I hope Strowman retains, but I'm at least 50% leaning toward Wyatt winning the belt back, sadly.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade and Angel Garza

I'd be much more into this if WWE hadn't already had these two teams face off numerous times, just to keep hitting the repeat button. It's nowhere near as bad as the Bayley and Nikki Cross stuff, but every time the same match gets copied and pasted, it loses value. By now, I've seen what The Street Profits and Andrade/Garza have to offer, so it won't be anything better than their previous matches.

PREDICTION: Andrade and Angel Garza win the titles.

United States Championship Match: Apollo Crews (c) vs. MVP

This match was supposed to happen at Extreme Rules. Instead, it happened on Raw. Then, it's now happening again. Why? What is up with WWE's fascination with just repeating stuff?

A better idea would have been a match with Bobby Lashley instead of another MVP match.

PREDICTION: Apollo Crews retains the title, unless WWE just wants to have ANOTHER match again down the line and will put it on MVP to instigate that. Then again, they'll probably just do it even if Crews retains.

Street Fight: Seth Rollins vs. Dominick Mysterio

No interest. I've been over this feud for weeks upon weeks. At least they have it as No DQ to allow for some more flexibility, but I'm not psyched.

PREDICTION: Seth Rollins wins.

Raw Women's Championship Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Asuka

WWE sure stretched this out, didn't they? This will be the third match between the two in a few weeks.

You've seen it enough times. You know how this goes. Either Asuka wins (which I'm expecting) and the whole Banks thing was just a means to stall for a whole month, or Banks retains and its proof WWE just will not budge on actually pulling the trigger for this Banks vs Bayley feud that has been stalled for over 2 years.

Their original match was fine. Now that WWE has run it into the ground, I couldn't care less about Asuka against The Boss.

PREDICTION: Asuka wins the title back.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Bayley (c) vs. Asuka

Surprisingly, Asuka is getting a shot at both belts. Have you had enough of her against Bayley and Banks yet? Well, you get two more matches, at least! But hey, it could have been Nikki Cross again, right?

If I were booking this (lol...if I were booking this, Bayley wouldn't have been champion since MITB 2019, that's for sure, and there would be some more variety) - I would think Asuka needs to beat Banks so there's a threat she could be a double champion. Then, she loses to Bayley.

PREDICTION: Bayley retains.

No Disqualification Loser Leaves WWE Match: Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville

See, this is what I like. They've had more than enough confrontations over the months, so WWE is putting a gimmick for this match to spice it up. That's how you do it! They had an interesting attack angle kick off this gimmick and they're going to follow it up with something that convinces people this is worth watching and not just a repeat of what we've seen before.

If this was such an easy thing to book, why is it so hard to understand and apply that to other feuds?

Mandy got her hair cut for what is the equivalent of a "super cute" new hairstyle. She's not getting her head shaved and losing this feud. This is totally Sonya's loss incoming and they'll play into that with upping her intensity. I'm all for it.

Update: Now, it's been changed to a Loser Leaves WWE match that is also No DQ. It seems they've gotten rid of the whole shaved head angle, which is a shame, as that was the driving force. I'll update this if anything else comes around, but until then, I'm still assuming Mandy wins.

PREDICTION: Mandy Rose wins
