The pre-show panel is Charly Caruso, Sam Roberts and Mansoor instead of the usual Pat McAfee. The crowd's loving booing Sam and cheering for Mansoor.
Just a bunch of recap stuff. Nothing more.
Then, Poppy has her musical performance for the first five minutes of the show. Pass.
NXT North American Championship Match: Keith Lee (c) vs. Dominik Dijakovic
RESULT: Keith Lee retained the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: SO GOOD. How do these guys keep having such amazing matches like this? I really, really, really hope WWE management is giving them as much praise as they deserve, cause they've killed it like 6 times now. Crazy good.
Post-match, Lee helped Dijakovic up and they hugged it out. Then, Lee helped Dijak up onto the middle rope to pose, too.
Street Fight: Dakota Kai vs. Tegan Nox
RESULT: Dakota Kai won by pinfall due to help from Reina Gonzalez, who is now Raquel Gonzalez, who tossed Nox through a table (kind of)
THOUGHTS: Botched finish to a damn good match.
Johnny Gargano vs. Finn Balor
RESULT: Finn Balor won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match, but if I'm honest, I was underwhelmed. I did expect it to be better than what it was. Don't mistake that as me saying it was bad, because it certainly wasn't. I just had higher hopes.
The Undisputed ERA spoke to Cathy Kelley backstage. Roderick Strong tried to hype them up for their two matches and then, Adam Cole dismissed Cathy.
NXT Women's Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Bianca Belair
RESULT: Rhea Ripley retained by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match, but nothing too memorable for the end of the year or anything.
Charlotte Flair attacked Ripley after the match. She then grabbed a mic and said "So I thought about it and I'll see you at WrestleMania."
NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Undisputed ERA (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) (c) vs. The BroserWeights (Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle)
RESULT: The BroserWeights won the titles by pinfall!
THOUGHTS: Fantastic tag team action in this match. I loved the near-fall and all the moments where they were working together as a unit on both sides. Thumbs up, for sure.
NXT Championship Match: Adam Cole (c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa
RESULT: Adam Cole retained by pinfall after Johnny Gargano turned on Ciampa and hit him with the NXT title.
THOUGHTS: Did not see that heel turn coming at all. Wow. I don't know what to think of that. The match itself was amazing, though, that's for sure.
