- Johnny Gargano cut a promo about Finn Balor, saying Balor left and they didn't need him to succeed. Balor interrupted to talk some trash about how promos are the only things Gargano can get cleared and how he wants revenge for Gargano costing him the NXT Championship. He will fight Gargano at TakeOver: Portland if Gargano is able to make it there.
- It was announced that Alex Shelley will be Kushida's partner for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They will face Grizzled Young Veterans next week while Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle will fight Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster.
- Mia Yim defeated Kayden Carter by pinfall. Chelsea Green attacked Yim and Carter after the match and Robert Stone cut a promo about how 2020 is the year he takes over NXT, starting with Chelsea Green.
- Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender's Match: Keith Lee beat Cameron Grimes, Damian Priest and Dominik Dijakovic to win a title shot for the North American Championship in two weeks.
