WWE Money in the Bank 2020 Results

Jeff Hardy vs. Cesaro

RESULT: Jeff Hardy won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Not bad. It's a nothing match, so if you missed it, you didn't miss anything, but it was at least some decent action for a random kickoff thing.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: The New Day (c) vs. The Miz and John Morrison vs. Lucha House Party vs. The Forgotten Sons

RESULT: The New Day retained the titles by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match to kick things off. It wasn't anything super memorable, but it was good and I enjoyed it.

Bobby Lashley came out to replace MVP in his match with R-Truth after Truth tried to give MVP some pointers on how to be ballin'.

R-Truth vs. Bobby Lashley

RESULT: Bobby Lashley won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Interesting. At least they're pushing Lashley with some wins. I chuckled at R-Truth playing up to the crowd that wasn't there, too.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Bayley (c) vs. Tamina

RESULT: Bayley retained the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Zzzzzzzz.

Universal Championship Match: Braun Strowman (c) vs. Bray Wyatt

RESULT: Braun Strowman retained the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: This was...okay. I wasn't really expecting too much else for a first encounter, but I have to admit that I wouldn't probably watch this back again.

WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Seth Rollins

RESULT: Drew McIntyre retained the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: This was a good match, but it was actually kind of hard for me to get into it, oddly enough. I think if you added a crowd and did the exact same thing, it would be great. The silence felt deafening to me, though. The action itself? Thumbs up.

Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Asuka vs. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Dana Brooke vs. Lacey Evans vs. Carmella and Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Daniel Bryan vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Aleister Black vs. AJ Styles vs. King Corbin vs. Otis

RESULT: Asuka and Otis won the briefcases.
THOUGHTS: This was AWFUL....and I can't help but feel like the winners are going to waste their briefcases, too, and make this whole thing not even worth doing. Yikes. YIKES. There were a couple things that made me kind of chuckle, and I'm a fan of Asuka and Otis, but this was bad.
