WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 Spoilers |
I Quit Match Inside Hell in a Cell for the Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jey Uso
Supposedly, this will have the highest stakes any WWE match has ever had. Suuuuuuuuuuure. Is Jey Uso out of the family entirely if he loses, or something? Too bad. He's going to lose. More on this once we learn more, but the one guarantee is that Reigns is keeping this belt, and I'm loving this whole Tribal Chief thing, so I'm down for it.
Update: This is now an I Quit match taking place inside Hell in a Cell. That's kind of neat.
PREDICTION: Roman Reigns retains the title.
WWE Championship Hell in a Cell Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton
If they had the title change hands here, it would be pretty ridiculous to have gone through three matches to get to that point. Then again, that would be typical WWE, wouldn't it? Still, I'm going to assume Drew McIntyre retains. That's the rational thing to do, and I hope WWE follows logic.
PREDICTION: Drew McIntyre retains the title.
SmackDown Women's Championship Hell in a Cell Match: Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks
Thank GOD they're getting this over with. Put the belt on Sasha Banks and then move on. It's been 3 years building up and teasing this story. I've been sick of it for so long that they killed my excitement for it.
PREDICTION: Sasha Banks wins the title, unless 2020 strikes again and wants to screw with me.
Elias vs. Jeff Hardy
Because of the album coming out, it makes more sense for Elias to win. It doesn't really matter, though.
Otis vs. The Miz
After The Miz paid off JBL to rule in his favor for the Law & Otis courtroom segment, Otis will have to defend the Money in the Bank briefcase against The Miz here. If Miz wins, he takes over the contract.
I'm glad they're doing this. They don't utilize the idea of defending the briefcase anywhere near as often as they should. It was the only logical conclusion of this story, too.
Otis should realistically retain, but if they go with The Miz, it wouldn't be the craziest thing in the world. He could just as easily lose to Drew McIntyre as Otis can lose to Roman Reigns. Neither are becoming world champion.
+ more TBA
Here are some potential matches I could see on the card:
- Raw Women's Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs. ????? - It will depend on the draft.
- United States Championship Match: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. ???????
- Intercontinental Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Daniel Bryan
- + more to come later....or at least, it should be, but here we are at 11pm on Friday night and we still only have five matches....
