Coverage will start as soon as the pre-show begins. Stay tuned!
24/7 Championship Match: R-Truth (c) vs. Drew Gulak
RESULT: R-Truth retained the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: A nothing match with two athletic, fun characters. It's a throwaway kickoff thing on a card that WWE doesn't care about. What more are you expecting, really? Nothing to hate or love.
Immediately after the match, Akira Tozawa, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik came out to chase after R-Truth as the 24/7 title rule was back in effect.
Universal Championship Hell in a Cell I Quit Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jey Uso
RESULT: Roman Reigns retained the title.
THOUGHTS: Looooooooooooooooooved all the character work in this.
Elias vs. Jeff Hardy
RESULT: Elias won by DQ when Hardy hit him with a guitar.
THOUGHTS: Pointless. This was a Raw match, and an uneventful one at that.
Otis vs. The Miz - Money in the Bank briefcase on the line
RESULT: The Miz won the Money in the Bank briefcase by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Tucker turned on Otis! Wow! I didn't see that coming. But I'm a huge fan of The Miz, so I'm cool with this. I also like how Otis has new theme music that doesn't feel like it's a generic rock song like everyone else has been getting.
SmackDown Women's Championship Hell in a Cell Match: Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks
RESULT: Sasha Banks won the title by submission!
THOUGHTS: Finally. The match will be overrated, I'm sure. I'm just happy this isn't getting dragged out as much as it could have been.
The Hurt Business made fun of RETRIBUTION's stupid masks. MVP upped the stakes by saying Bobby Lashley will put the United States title on the line.
United States Championship Match: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Slapjack
RESULT: Bobby Lashley retained the title by submission.
THOUGHTS: This was a waste of time.
WWE Championship Hell in a Cell Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton
RESULT: Randy Orton won the title by pinfall!
THOUGHTS: Booooooo. Who is there on Raw for Orton to fight over the coming months? There aren't a lot of babyfaces. I don't want to see McIntyre vs Orton any more, for instance. I think this was a mistake, as great as Orton has been this year. It should have been McIntyre retaining to feud with tons of people, including a match against Reigns at Survivor Series.
