United States Championship Match: Apollo Crews (c) vs. Andrade
RESULT: Apollo Crews retained the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: As generic of a match as you could possibly get. Totally average. Not bad, not great, just a match.
Women's Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Match: The Boss 'n' Hug Connection (Bayley and Sasha Banks) (c) vs. Bliss Cross Applesauce (Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross) vs. The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce)
RESULT: The Boss 'n' Hug Connection retain the titles by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Not a bad match, but nothing at all I'll remember by the time I do the post-show podcast tonight after this event, that's for sure.
Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus
RESULT: Sheamus won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Best match so far. I liked it. Nothing super duper impressive, but a step up and better than I had anticipated.
Raw Women's Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax
RESULT: Double count-out.
THOUGHTS: This sucked so hard. Goddamn. It was boring all the way until the end, which was incredibly lame. Awful. Totally awful.
Universal Championship Handicap Match: Braun Strowman (c) vs. John Morrison and The Miz
RESULT: Braun Strowman retained the title by pinfall on Morrison.
THOUGHTS: All things considered, this wasn't bad. It just isn't a match that anyone is going to care about.
WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Bobby Lashley
RESULT: Drew McIntyre retained the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: It got the job done. It's a shame Lashley doesn't always look this strong.
Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (c) vs. The Viking Raiders
RESULT: So...this was a "cinematic match" instead, with no actual match. It was just a series of brawling spots.
THOUGHTS: This stuff isn't awesome to me. I know it's making some people laugh, but I find the way they're filming these to be just too silly and not my style, and the jokes to not be good.
Edge vs. Randy Orton
RESULT: Randy Orton won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Piped in crowd noise really hurt this match. It was great other than that.
