This list will keep track of all the releases, firings, quits, and "future endeavors" of any kind for the year 2020. Keep checking back throughout the year for new updates on the latest releases and the people that have retired or been fired.

  • 1/18 - Jazzy Gabert tweeted out that she is a free agent.
  • 1/22 - Killer Kelly's WWE profile was removed, too, possibly signaling her release. 
  • 2/7 - Taynara Conti supposedly walked out of WWE, but is still under contract. No official word on if she's gone or if this was just a random dispute or, possibly, entirely untrue. 
  • 2/14 - Cathy Kelley announced she will be leaving WWE after TakeOver: Portland. 
  • 3/1 - Matt Hardy left WWE
  • 4/10 - The Revival were released.
  • 4/15 - WWE released Curt Hawkins, EC3, Lio Rush, Karl Anderson, Hurricane Helms, Drake Maverick, Eric Young, Heath Slater, Luke Gallows, Billy Kidman, Mike Rotunda, Dave Finlay, Pat Buck, Shawn Daivari, Scott Armstrong, Sarah Stock, Lance Storm, Aiden English, Kurt Angle, Erick Rowan, The Colons, Sarah Logan, Mike Chioda, Mike Kanellis, Maria Kanellis, Zack Ryder, No Way Jose, Rusev, Aleksandar Jaksic, Deonna Purrazzo, MJ Jenkins, Josiah Williams, Norman Smiley,Serena Deeb, Ace Steel, Kendo Kashin, Jerry Soto, Dorian Mak, Jon Quasto, Alyssa Marino
  • 4/17 - Add to that list Nick Ogarelli, Tino Sabbatelli, Taynara Conti and possibly Kassius Ohno, Cezar Bononi, Mars Wang, Edgar Lopez, Faisal Kurdi, Hussain Aldagal, Marcos Gomes, Mohamed Fahim, Omari Palmer, Rocky and others.
  • 4/28 - Cain Velasquez and Gerald Brisco were reported to have been released 
  • 4/30 - Curtis Axel was released. 
  • 5/16 - Drew Gulak was released...but was reinstated several days later.
  • 6/4 - Drake Maverick was reinstated to a new contract 
  • 6/19 - Gentleman Jack Gallagher was released. 
  • 6/26 - Ligero and Travis Banks were supposedly released
  • 7/27 - Kairi Sane announced her exit from WWE 
  • 8/31 - Brock Lesnar is now a free agent. Not quite a release, but certainly on the same wavelength.
  • 8/31 - Mauro Ranallo announced his exit from WWE 
  • 9/4 - AOP was released from WWE
  • 11/13 - Zelina Vega was released from WWE
