AEW World Championship Match: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Jon Moxley

They've done a good job taking a long, long stretch of time between Cody and Moxley to set up this match. If Moxley were to win the title, I honestly wouldn't be too shocked. However, I don't think that will be the case. I'm still leaning toward Jericho holding it for an entire year and losing it at All Out to Kenny Omega.

PREDICTION: Chris Jericho retains.

Cody vs. MJF

Cody has yet to officially earn this match, but it will happen. Otherwise, what's the point of all this? In theory, Cody should win this match in order to get revenge for all the things MJF has done. While that's not a certainty, I do think a swerve just opens up a gap in where to go from there.

PREDICTION: Cody wins.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Hangman Adam Page and Kenny Omega (c) vs. The Young Bucks

This story of The Elite breaking down because of Page's drinking problems and The Young Bucks becoming challengers is actually pretty interesting. I'm assuming the belts change hands so that it can further that storyline and give Page a reason to lash out and possibly even turn heel 100%. Maybe, they drop the belts and Omega tries to congratulate them, but Page wants none of that because he's more upset that he lost than that his friends bested him in the competition?

PREDICTION: The Young Bucks win.

Jake Hager vs. Dustin Rhodes

Finally, after so many months, Jake Hager is going to wrestle in AEW. Admittedly, I'm more excited to see what he has to offer than I should be. It isn't as if we haven't seen him wrestle for years as Jack Swagger. But let's look on the bright side of things before being disappointed, if that happens, right?

PREDICTION: Jake Hager wins.

Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara

This should be fun, even though its indicative of a lot of AEW events in that there isn't a whole lot of substance to it. It's just mostly a match that is happening with the bare minimum setup and the hook is "yeah, but won't they have a good match?" Good enough.

PREDICTION: Darby Allin wins.

AEW Women's World Championship Match: Nyla Rose (c) vs. Kris Statlander

Frankly, if I were AEW, I think I would have held off on Statlander as a challenger. Not enough time was given to build that up. I think I would have gone with either Riho in a rematch or Shanna, since she has had issues with Nyla Rose in the past.

PREDICTION: Nyla Rose retains.

The Dark Order vs. SoCal Uncensored

The big hook here is whether or not they'll reveal The Exalted One, not the match. I'm not fond of Evil Uno and Stu Grayson, so I'm certainly not looking forward to that.

Who do I think The Exalted One is? Well, I don't think they'll reveal it here anyway, but I'm less and less thinking Matt Hardy. It just feels too obvious. Then again, so does Christopher Daniels, but it wouldn't shock me if they went with either of those. I'm still hoping its someone different, though (as long as they're just as good or better. Don't make it Hornswoggle)

PREDICTION: Dark Order wins.

PAC vs. Orange Cassidy

Orange Cassidy is the man. Give him the belt. Of course he's going to lose this, but it'll be one of the more fun segments of the night.

PREDICTION: PAC wins.
