(Buy In) NWA World Women's Championship Match: Serena Deeb (c) vs. Allysin Kay
RESULT: Serena Deeb retained by submission.
THOUGHTS: Just a match. Nothing that stood out to me.
Thunder Rosa came out after the match to talk some trash and indicate she's looking for a rematch.
Eddie Kingston's crew was asked about whether they think he has what it takes to beat Moxley. Allie says it's perfectly clear he won't say "I quit".
AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament Final Match: Kenny Omega vs. Hangman Adam Page
RESULT: Kenny Omega won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Honestly, I'm disappointed. I wanted this to be a total wow Match of the Year type deal. It wasn't anywhere near that level for me.
Orange Cassidy vs. John Silver
RESULT: Orange Cassidy wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Great match, as expected. These two are fantastic and Silver is one of those overlooked performers, in particular.
AEW TNT Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Darby Allin
RESULT: Darby Allin won the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: You're going to hate me, but I thought this was kind of boring. This wasn't a bad match in the sense of having botches and all, but I just couldn't get into the mood of what they did. I'm glad Cody is going by Cody Rhodes now, though.
After the match, Team Taz attacked both Allin and Rhodes.
AEW Women's World Championship Match: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Nyla Rose
RESULT: Hikaru Shida retained the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Meh. It was fine. Ending was blah, though.
Vickie Guerrero slapped Nyla Rose after the match as they argued with each other and Vickie called her pathetic.
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: FTR (c) vs. The Young Bucks
RESULT: Young Bucks win the titles by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match. Admittedly, still not as great as I was hoping it would be, but it was closer to matching its expectations than Omega/Page.
The Elite Deletion Match: Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara
THOUGHTS: Ridiculous, but in a good way. It's far from the most hilarious or interesting of these cinematic matches and Broken Matt Hardy segments, but it was a refreshing change of pace.
Chris Jericho vs. MJF
RESULT: MJF won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match with a realistic ending. I liked this.
AEW World Championship I Quit Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Eddie Kingston
RESULT: Jon Moxley retained the title
THOUGHTS: Exactly the type of hardcore match they needed to have. Definitely thumbs up.
