WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #260 - The Prelude to Clash of Champions | Smark Out Moment
Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Walter [-4]

With Imperium's dirty work this week handled by Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner, Walter's participation this week was limited to a post-match obliteration of a poor, defenseless jobber.

9. The New Day [-2]

Big E & Xavier Woods have remained conspicuously absent in the build to Clash of Champions, putting on the back foot for their title defense against The Revival. However, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston had the chance to send a message to Randy Orton on SmackDown, driving him through a table in MSG once again.

8. Chad Gable [NR]

With Elias ruled out of the King of the Ring semi-finals due to injury, Chad Gable was instead tasked with defeating Shane McMahon to earn his spot in the finals. Despite the blackmailed referee Kevin Owens working against him, Gable forced McMahon to tap out, leaving him one match away from the coveted crown.

7. Baron Corbin [NR]

To claim the crown, Chad Gable will have to overcome Baron Corbin, who secured his place in the final on Raw with a victory over Samoa Joe and Ricochet in the tournament's first-ever Triple Threat match. With Corbin rising back to prominence and more full of himself than ever, is the title of King of the Ring as good as his?

6. South Wales Subculture [+2]

An unlikely rise up the Power Rankings for the UK's top tag team right now, as South Wales Subculture successfully defended their NXT UK Tag Team Championships on Wednesday, defeating the former champs Grizzled Young Veterans.

5. The Undisputed Era [-3]

NXT's most dominant faction was absent for all but the last couple of minutes on this week's edition, as they prepare for two significant title matches taking place next week: Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish facing The Street Profits, and Roderick Strong looking to capture the NXT North American Championship from Velveteen Dream.

4. Braun Strowman [+1]

With two title matches on his mind leading into Clash of Champions, Braun Strowman was able to celebrate a main event victory on Raw inside Madison Square Garden, teaming with Seth Rollins, Cedric Alexander and The Viking Raiders to defeat The O.C., Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode.

3. Seth Rollins [+1]

The Universal Champion and co-holder of the Raw Tag Team Championships Seth Rollins was also on the winning side of Monday's main event match. With two title defenses on his mind on Sunday, one has to wonder how many belts The Beastslayer will walk out of Clash of Champions with.

2. The Boss & Hug Connection [-1]

In an epic tag team battle on Raw, Bayley & Sasha Banks were defeated by the combined forces of their opponents at Clash of Champions, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. While Bayley's victory over Ember Moon on SmackDown salvaged something from this week for The Boss & Hug Connection, they still lose top spot on the Power Rankings charts.

1. Becky Lynch [+2]

Rising back to the number one slot is Becky Lynch. The Man teamed with her often-time rival Charlotte Flair to claim victory on Raw in a tag match worthy of the Madison Square Garden venue, defeating SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley and Lynch's upcoming challenger at Clash of Champions, Sasha Banks.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Charlotte Flair - Charlotte Flair was the fourth component in Raw's exceptional tag team match, scoring the decisive pinfall over Bayley heading into their SmackDown Women's Championship match.

Cedric Alexander - After getting the win for his team in Raw's main event 10-man tag, Cedric Alexander has earned a United States Championship match with AJ Styles at Clash of Champions.

Pete Dunne - Continuing his run on the main NXT roster, Pete Dunne was victorious over Angel Garza on Wednesday's show.

Rey Mysterio - After months in the wilderness, Rey Mysterio was back to winning ways on Raw, coming out on top in a fun lucha match over Gran Metalik.

The Miz - Finally, The Miz continued to build momentum for his Intercontinental Championship opportunity by defeating Andrade on SmackDown.
