Intercontinental Championship Match: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Ali
RESULT: Shinsuke Nakamura retains by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good for a nothing match. Meaningless, though. Ali and Nakamura could do better, this could be an actual feud, and it can have much more purpose behind it.
Musical Performance by Elias / Elias vs. Kevin Owens
RESULT: Nothing that we haven't seen a thousand times. Kevin Owens eventually came out to mess with Elias by playing one of his guitars before giving him a special request of shutting up, and asking for a match. They get it and Owens wins with a stunner.
THOUGHTS: Bland and uninspiring.
WWE Championship Triple Threat Match: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Samoa Joe vs. Dolph Ziggler
RESULT: Kofi Kingston retains the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Decent for a house show, which this was, but at the same time, this is also supposed to be a special event that more people watched, so that was disappointing if I'm reviewing it from that perspective.
Thumbs down for this event, overall. There isn't any reason for anybody to watch these things and want to be home on a Saturday night for this hour.
