WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #243 - The Long Climb to Money in the Bank | Smark Out Moment
Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Nikki Cross [NR]

After weeks of inactivity and confusion over her future, Nikki Cross returned to Raw as Alexa Bliss's new sidekick. This led the former SAnitY member to replace Bliss in a Fatal Four-Way later on the show, which Cross promptly won, defeating Naomi, Natalya and Dana Brooke.

9. Seth Rollins [-2]

Seth Rollins cut a decent promo building towards his upcoming Universal Championship match with AJ Styles at Money in the Bank. But that failed to turnaround the drop in momentum he's endured since WrestleMania, something he'll hope to remedy with a strong title defense at the PPV.

8. Baron Corbin [+2]

In a battle between two of the men who'll compete in this year's Money in the Bank ladder match, Baron Corbin came out on top over Ricochet. This will do nothing to alleviate fears that Corbin will be entering the Universal Championship picture in the near future.

7. AJ Styles [-1]

The other half of the Universal Championship match at Money in the Bank also enjoyed a notably quiet week on Raw in the UK, as AJ Styles matched Seth Rollins' promo with one of his own. Hopefully this perceived dream match makes up for the lukewarm feud in the build-up.

6. Andrade [NR]

An impressive victory for one of the frontrunners for this year's Money in the Bank briefcase on SmackDown, as Andrade won a Fatal Four-Way against his fellow challengers for that honor - Finn Balor, Ali and Randy Orton.

5. Finn Balor [-2]

The Intercontinental Champion hasn't had the most spectacular last few weeks, as he failed to win the Fatal Four-Way prelude to the Money in the Bank ladder match on SmackDown. And, with no title defense on the horizon for Finn Balor, will the drop continue after the PPV?

4. Daniel Bryan & Erick Rowan [+1]

The new SmackDown Tag Team Champions have found a powerful ally in Shane McMahon. Daniel Bryan & Erick Rowan teamed with him and Elias to defeat Roman Reigns and The Usos in a handicap match on SmackDown, leading to their respective matches at Money in the Bank.

3. Becky Lynch [-1]

The Man's challenge at Money in the Bank came crashing home on Raw this week, as Becky Lynch was powerbombed through a table courtesy of her upcoming challengers Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans. With two matches already booked and a potential cash-in to contend with as well, will Sunday see the end of Becky 2 Belts?

2. The Viking Raiders [+2]

After defeating Raw Tag Team Champions Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder last week, The Viking Raiders were strangely absent this week. But they dominated the latest edition of NXT which proved to be their last. A no contest in the NXT Tag Championship defense against The Street Profits led to them tearing through the entire tag division before relinquishing their belts.

1. The New Day [No Change]

The New Day remain on top thanks to Kofi Kingston's consistently strong booking. Despite Big E's injury and Sami Zayn realigning himself with Kevin Owens to hunt down Kingston, the WWE Champion stood tall at the end of SmackDown to take the edge into his latest title defense at Money in the Bank.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Rey Mysterio - Before he challenges Samoa Joe for the United States Championship at Money in the Bank, Rey Mysterio overcame Cesaro on Raw in a strong match.

Kabuki Warriors - While the name has divided fans, Kabuki Warriors were decisive in their victory over Fire & Desire on SmackDown, with Asuka pinning Mandy Rose.

Keith Lee - It was a winning return to NXT after injury for Keith Lee, as he forced Cezar Bononi to bask in his glory.

Sami Zayn - While he received a huge assist from Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin to defeat the equally huge Braun Strowman, Sami Zayn won Raw's Falls Count Anywhere match to secure a spot in the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Shane McMahon - He's not called the Best in the World for nothing. Shane McMahon stacked the deck in his team's favor on SmackDown, with McMahon scoring the decisive pinfall over Jimmy Uso.

Dropped from Last Week's Power Rankings

  • Matt Riddle
  • Roman Reigns
