Jon Moxley vs. Joey Janela

Joey Janela is definitely someone they're putting a lot of stock into, but there's no way I'm picking him over Jon Moxley, who is very clearly one of the absolute top stars. Janela feels more like a go-to for the midcard title, once they make one.

PREDICTION: Jon Moxley wins.

Hardcore Match: Alex Jebailey vs. Michael Nakazawa

Jebailey is involved in CEO Gaming, which is co-producing this event. Nakazawa is a jokey guy, it seems, so I doubt he's actually going to be pushed like a big deal and win this.

PREDICTION: Jebailey wins.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. The Lucha Bros (Pentagón Jr. and Rey Fénix) and Laredo Kid

Pac has been replaced with Laredo Kid, who I know nothing about. Disappointing on paper, for sure, and now that that's happened, I can say that it doesn't change my original prediction for the match. I had thought that if a big enough name came in, that side of the match would come out on top, but unless it was someone like CM Punk (who I think will be at All Out, rather than here, obviously), it served no purpose to have The Elite lose. Now, I think it's a done deal that The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega win.

PREDICTION: The Elite wins.

Cody vs. Darby Allin

Darby Allin will be making his debut for AEW here, so you'd think he would have the edge, but Cody has momentum on his side with his win from Double or Nothing and his scheduled match for Fight for the Fallen, so I'm going with him.

PREDICTION: Cody wins.

Fatal 4-Way Match: "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Jungle Boy vs. MJF

The build for this was Page requesting a match for MJF and everyone getting confused multiple times. Sure, why not? I'm down, because the match itself is probably going to be quite fun.

PREDICTION: Adam Page wins.

Christopher Daniels vs. Cima

Neat? I still know pretty much nothing about Cima, having only seen him at Double or Nothing and not being able to remember which guy he was. But I have no reason to believe this will be a bad match, so cool.

PREDICTION: Cima wins.

Yuka Sakazaki vs. Riho vs. Nyla Rose

Very curious why matches like this feel so random, but I'm interested to see where they go from here. Is this a means to highlight Nyla Rose after she was unable to win that match at Double or Nothing? Or is this just there because "hey, they could have a good match" or something?

PREDICTION: Nyla Rose wins.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) vs. SoCal Uncensored (Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian) vs. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen)

Another match on the Buy In pre-show will have ramifications for the AEW World Tag Team Championship down the line. Stay with me on this one, because it's a little confusing.

These three teams will face each other to advance to All Out, wherein the winning team will face another team, and the winner of that team will receive a first round bye for the eventual tournament, which will happen when AEW has their television show.

Basically, this match is to win a shot at winning a first round tournament bye.

PREDICTION: SoCal Uncensored wins.

Kylie Rae vs. Leva Bates

Kylie Rae came up short at Double or Nothing, but she's clearly a major player in the women's division, whereas Leva Bates comes off as a utility player who will mostly be comedic. It's not out of the realm of possibility for Bates to win, but I'm going with Rae, for sure.

PREDICTION: Kylie Rae wins.
