AEW Double or Nothing Results

21-Man Casino Battle Royale

RESULTS: "Hangman" Adam Page wins by last eliminating MJF.
THOUGHTS: Total circus show of a bunch of random things, but it was fun. Incorporating Page like this was a good way to make up for the lack of the Pac match, and I'm glad MJF got a spotlight.

Kylie Rae is interviewed by Alicia Atout, but interrupted by Peter Avalon, The Librarian, who tells everyone to be quiet. Leva Bates, the Librarian, interrupts him. They have a shush-off.

Kip Sabian vs. Sammy Guevara

RESULTS: Kip Sabian wins by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Pretty standard match that I didn't think was anything super amazing, but wasn't problematic, either.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs. Strong Hearts (Cima, T-Hawk and El Lindaman)

RESULTS: SoCal Uncensored win by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Good match, but nothing super memorable that I'd tell people is a must-see.

Four-Way Match: Dr. Britt Baker vs. Kylie Rae vs. Nyla Rose vs. Awesome Kong

RESULTS: Dr. Britt Baker wins by pinfall over Kylie Rae
THOUGHTS: Perfectly fine match, but nothing special, again. Don't fool yourselves into thinking this is anything better than WWE just because it's an alternative. This was as good as a Fatal 4-Way that WWE would put on with people like Naomi and whatnot.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) vs. Los Güeros del Cielo (Angélico and Jack Evans)

RESULTS: Best Friends win by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Good match. I'm honestly feeling a little over the superkicks and stuff, though, so I'm hoping this isn't just every single match's style for the history of the company.

After the match, they hug it out, but the lights go out. When they come back on, a bunch of masked people attack all four of them.

Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki and Emi Sakura vs. Hikaru Shida, Riho and Ryo Mizunami

RESULTS: Shida, Riho and Mizunami win by pinfall
THOUGHTS: This was my least favorite match so far. It was still fine, but it was the one more than any so far that I feel like it could be entirely skipped.

Cody vs. Dustin Rhodes

RESULTS: Cody wins by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Good match. It wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be, but it was better than WWE would have let them have.

After the match, Cody asks Dustin to be his partner against The Young Bucks at Fight for the Fallen. He accepts.

Bret Hart comes out to present the AEW title. He calls out Adam Page. MJF interrupts. He talks about how Page should give up that title shot to him. Jungle Boy comes out to take issue with MJF. Then, Jimmy Havoc comes out. All three take out MJF. Hart holds up the title belt, which is predominantly all gold with AEW in black in the center.

AAA World Tag Team Championship Match: The Young Bucks vs. The Lucha Bros

RESULTS: The Young Bucks win by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Very good match, as expected. I'm surprised Lucha Bros didn't win.

Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho

RESULTS: Chris Jericho wins by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Called it. Good match. I think people are going to act like this was a 400 out of 10, but while I would disagree with that, I definitely give it a thumbs up.

After the match, Jericho cut a promo on how AEW is Jericho and he's the reason they have the TV deal and all. Then, Jon Moxley appeared from the crowd. He hit Jericho with a DDT, then gave the referee a DDT, but when he tried to give one to Omega, Omega fought back. They brawled into the crowd. Moxley gave Omega a DDT on the poker chips on the stage.
