Smark Out Moment

This week's episode of WWE NXT was taped on April 10, 2019 at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The following are spoilers of the results from the original tapings. WWE may choose to edit things differently, rearrange or add other supplemental content.

• Velveteen Dream retained the North American Championship over Buddy Murphy
• Johnny Gargano cut a promo on his title victory from TakeOver: New York. The Undisputed ERA came out, minus Roderick Strong (who Adam Cole blames for his loss). They talk trash and Strong attacks Gargano from the crowd before the rest of them join in on the beating.
• Dominik Dijakovic defeated Aaron Frye (Fry Daddy). Dijakovic then sets his sights on the North American title.
• Shayna Baszler retained the NXT Women's Championship over Kairi Sane after a disqualification when Io Shirai interfered. Sane can no longer challenge for the title. Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir held back Shirai to allow Baszler to attack Sane. After the match, Sane bowed to the crowd, most likely as a spoiler for her move up to the main roster.
