WWE Battle of the Brands: Raw vs. SmackDown - Best Show of the Week (April 22-23, 2019) | Smark Out Moment
Welcome to another edition of Battle of the Brands from Smark Out Moment, where we compare this week's episodes of Raw and SmackDown and determine which one of the two was the better show.

WWE Monday Night Raw - April 22, 2019 - Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA
WWE SmackDown - April 23, 2019 – Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE

which WWE TV show was better this week Raw vs SmackDown

BATTLE OF THE BRANDS:

RAW vs. SMACKDOWN

FACTOR 1: MATCHES

Quite a bit of action on this episode of Raw, which was good. SmackDown left much more to the imagination, in comparison.

WINNER: Raw

FACTOR 2: PROMOS

Raw = Nothing really stood out. Sami Zayn's promo was decent, but not as good as previous weeks.

SmackDown = Zzzzz on the Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Bayley promo. The same for the Shane McMahon one.

WINNER: Raw

FACTOR 3: STORYLINES

Raw = There was a complete lack of storylines on this episode, as WWE changed the Superstar Shake-up around and had to heal again this week.

SmackDown = Even though I dislike the heel turn for Kevin Owens, it was at least the next step in a storyline, so by default, the blue brand wins this aspect this time around.

WINNER:  SmackDown

FACTOR 4: SCHEDULING / PACING

Raw = Overall, I think this had a good pace to it, but the women's division was definitely shortchanged.

SmackDown = In comparison, SmackDown didn't have quite as good of a flow. I wish WWE would get out of this habit of starting with a 15 minute promo every single episode.

WINNER: Raw

EXTRA CREDIT BONUS ROUND!!!

Raw gains a point for changing The Viking Experience to The Viking Raiders.

No bonus or negative points for SmackDown this week.

POINT ADJUSTMENTS: Raw (+1 / -0) / SmackDown (+0 / -0)

THIS WEEK'S WINNER = Raw

That's my pick for the better show of the week, but how do YOU stand?
Which was better, Raw or SmackDown?
