AEW Fight for the Fallen 2019 Results

Sonny Kiss vs. Peter Avalon

RESULT: Sonny Kiss wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Decent opener just to get the ball rolling. It's good for a pre-show starter.

Britt Baker and Riho vs. Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakajima

RESULT: Priestley and Nakajima win by pinfall (Nakajima over Riho)
THOUGHTS: Closed captioning was hilarious and distracted the hell out of me for half the match. Before that, there were some awkward spots (mostly with Nakajima) but it wasn't bad, just not great.

Jimmy Havoc, Darby Allin and Joey Janela vs. MJF, Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears

RESULT: MJF, Guevara and Spears win by pinfall (Spears over Allin)
THOUGHTS: Good match. Nothing super memorable, but that's okay, because the overall picture was fun to watch.

Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie

RESULT: Brandi Rhodes wins by pinfall, with some help from Awesome Kong providing distractions ringside.
THOUGHTS: Better than I expected. It's good to push the Rhodes/Kong connection if they're going with the Stephanie McMahon "evil authority figure" route with Brandi.

After the match, Brandi and Kong continue to attack Allie. Aja Kong comes out to stare down Awesome Kong. Kong v Kong don't come to blows quite yet.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) vs. Angélico and Jack Evans vs. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus

RESULT: The Dark Order wins by pinfall (Evil Uno over Jungle Boy)
THOUGHTS: Good match that really put Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy over, in particular. They really stood out to me. I'm not super impressed with Dark Order yet. Angelico and Evans were kind of just there as buffer people.

"Hangman" Adam Page vs. Kip Sabian

RESULT: Page wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good, but not memorable or a standout of the night.

A masked Chris Jericho attacks Page after the match.

SoCal Uncensored (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs. Lucha Brothers (Pentagón Jr. and Rey Fenix)

RESULT: SoCal Uncensored / Lucha Brothers win by pinfall (Pentagon over Sky)
THOUGHTS: Good match, as expected, but I have nothing really to say about it.

After the match, both teams fight some more, but with a ladder. The Lucha Bros pose on the ladder and call themselves the best tag team on the planet and challenge The Young Bucks to a ladder match at All Out, presumably for the AAA tag titles (which seems weird to me).

Kenny Omega vs. Cima

RESULT: Kenny Omega wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match, hard-fought, and people went nuts for it. I have nothing to say about it and I'll forget about it by the end of the night. Sorry, just being honest.

Time for Chris Jericho's promo. Blah blah. Page comes out. They momentarily fight before being separated by people.

The Young Bucks vs. Cody and Dustin Rhodes

RESULT: The Young Bucks win by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match, but I got tired eventually and wanted it to end earlier than it did.

Post-match, Matt and Nick Jackson apologize for teasing them and put them over as a myth/legend of being "one of the best tag teams they've ever been in the ring with" and all. They're interrupted by Kenny Omega, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Brandi Rhodes, Shad Khan and a giant check. Awkward transition. $150,000 for the charity. Cody says "you can't counter program what All Elite Wrestling is doing."
