WWE NXT TakeOver: XXV Results

The only thing of note in the pre-show is that Tommaso Ciampa says he's fully cleared for "non-contact activity" which is great news.

Matt Riddle vs. Roderick Strong

RESULT: Matt Riddle wins by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Great means to get the crowd pumped up. I'd argue this was as good as anything on the Double or Nothing card (and as good as NXT's baseline always is). Thumbs up for sure.

NXT Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match: The Undisputed ERA vs. The Street Profits vs. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan vs. The Forgotten Sons

RESULT: The Street Profits win the titles
THOUGHTS: SO MUCH FUN. Jesus, this looked like it hurt so bad and everyone should be so banged up after this. I was down on it going in, but they thankfully proved me so wrong. Total spot fest of brutality. This was fucking awesome!

NXT North American Championship Match: Velveteen Dream (c) vs. Tyler Breeze

RESULT: Velveteen Dream retains the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Another absolutely fantastic match! I definitely got what I wanted out of this and I feel like this proves yet again how talented both of these guys are. This was awesome.

NXT Women's Championship Match: Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Io Shirai

RESULT: Shayna Baszler retains the title by submission
THOUGHTS: Baszler is totally the best women's champion in such a long time. This was yet another great match and in a different way than everything before it. It's my least favorite so far, but that's saying a lot because I still really enjoyed it.

NXT Championship Match: Johnny Gargano (c) vs. Adam Cole

RESULT: Adam Cole wins the title by pinfall!
THOUGHTS: Make that 5 for 5. This was awesome. Such a great event. This match took a little bit to get started, but once it did, they made it spectacular.
