Do you have a question that you want to ask the minds over at Smark Out Moment? Our version of the WWE Inbox is the Smark Out Moment Mailbag. Once a month, we set aside some time to answer any of the questions on your mind, whether they be wrestling related, trivia to try to stump us, or just general questions to get to know Tony Mango and the other members of the team better.

Here are your submissions for this month:


Question: "Have you seen this new guy from NXT, Eric Bugenhagen? I like his charisma and scream but his "air instrument" gimmick might be a bit too goofy for the main roster. He could wind up another No Way Jose or even an Adam Rose. What do you think about these types of gimmicks, You might as well just make him part of 3MB already."

Answer: They're already having him lose, so I have my doubts he'll be anything other than another one of those jobbers, but he's got a good look to him and seems interesting, so I hope they give him more than that kind of role.


Question: "If you had a custom belt what would it look like? For example material, centerplate"

Answer: Definitely black leather, definitely gold, definitely a design that traces the plates rather than just being a big chunk of leather surrounding it. Think more along the lines of the Intercontinental Championship shape but with side plates and black, and no illustrations of people grappling. Definitely a globe.

Question: "Do you think Kofi Kingston is 'over the hill' or can he still have a run at the top at this stage in his career?"

Answer: Definitely not too old. If AJ Styles can have a year-long reign and be 4 years older than Kofi, there's no reason to think he's past the right age for a run.

Question: "Do you see Undertaker ever having another match in WWE or anywhere else, and which non WWE person would be a dream match for him?"

Answer: I do think he'll have at least one more match in WWE at some point, but I wouldn't bet on it being anything sensational. As far as an opponent, I think the only matches that make sense are Demon Balor, Braun Strowman (but he'd kill Taker), Samoa Joe and AJ Styles. Non-WWE....oof...I don't know.

Question: "Do you listen to any podcasts such as the Attitude Era Podcast or the New Generation Project Podcast? (Callum might know them as they're Brits) Highly recommended :)"

Answer: Nope, I only listen to Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard, as far as wrestling content goes.

Question: "Which Kane Mask is your favourite? I like the 03 mask with no mouth cover."

Answer: Nothing beats the original in my mind. I like the ones with the points, not the pure red one he's used the past bunch of years.

Question: "If Scott Steiner gets inducted into the HOF do you think he'll tell Stephanie and HHH to fuck off?"

Answer: I can't even begin to calculate the "percents" chance that he flies off the rails.


Question: "So with this Disney+ streaming service coming out this year what marvel stuff would you like to see in it bar the already planed Loki, Scarlet Witch & Vision and Falcon & Winter Soldier series?"

Answer: I'd like them to bring back the Netflix shows, but only do a combo series of Heroes for Hire. Other shows would be a Hulk spinoff with She-Hulk, Betty Ross, Doc Samson, Rick Jones and Thunderbolt Ross being Red Hulk (bring back Abomination, too). They should have a dark crossover show with Blade, Ghost Rider and Morbius (but that won't happen). Moon Knight would be cool. But more than anything, I think this is where Fantastic 4 needs to happen instead of a movie, and they need to use that as a means to incorporate some of the weirder, lesser aspects of the Marvel universe that aren't interesting enough on the big screen, like Mole Man, Namor, Mad Thinker and more.

Question: "Do you think that the other TV shows will be brought over eventually? I.e. Agents Of Shield, Clock & Dagger, it any of Defenders shows?"

Answer: Sadly, nope, I don't think they will be.

Question: "Marvel's Kevin Feige announces that a new show will air on Disney+, Silver Surfer. Who would you cast for the role?"

Answer: Oooo...hm...I'd probably try to go for somewhat of an unknown who can feel on the alien side of things, but if I'm going for a name, the first one that popped into my mind was Zachary Quinto for some reason. Part of me loves the suggestion of Keanu Reeves.

Question: "He also announced that the Blade character will be introduced in the Disney+ Shows universe now including all Marvel TV shows. Where would you introduce this character? Personally I'd have him first show up in either season 4 of Daredevil or Punisher Season 3. ( I can imagine them working in a scene with The Punisher, Blade and Ghost Rider and how awesome that would be)"

Answer: Check my previous answer of a combo series of Blade and maybe Ghost Rider hunting down paranormal things or something.

Question: "Are there any other lesser known characters that you would Marvel to give a TV show to?"

Answer: Somewhere, at some point, I need to see Impossible Man, but yeah, maybe Wonder Man can be worked in sometime in the future, and pretty much everyone. If they exist, I'd check out a series about them, since the MCU can do virtually no wrong (minus Mandarin).

Question: "What is going on with the DC Film universe or whatever it's called these days? Feel like we need a state of the DCEU address?"

Answer: I feel like the only thing that can be depended on is that if a DC film is announced, that there's a 75% chance it doesn't happen.

Question: "In your opinion, who won the legendary battle at Mount Silver? Red or Gold??"

Answer: I'd like to think Red won, cause there isn't anything else to the story at that point, so there's no canon that I'm aware of for Gold to have to beat Red and then move on to something else. IMO, Red should be the best of all, always. Or fuck it, Blue wins, somehow haha.

Question: "Where should gen 8 be based on? Personally I'd like it to be based on like 18th or 19th Century Britain."

Answer: I keep seeing United Kingdom, and I'm cool with that. Honestly, I don't know geographical locations well enough to pinpoint an area that I think should have a vast topography and interesting lore other than something like UK or any default things like Spain or whatever. California could be a good one, though, to incorporate Hollywood and the mountains and beaches and all, maybe even Las Vegas as an area, but how would they have caves and icy areas?

Question: "I know Wago done a Nuzlocke of I think Sapphire ages ago, well the one episode of it... you guys ever thought of doing any Pokemon gaming on Fanboys??"

Answer: I've wanted to do things like that, but can't find the time and resources to pull it off. I did do a Nuzlocke of my own one time with Black/White 2 and Nidoking was my starter, so that was fun. I love the whole randomizer concept and I wish I could do some kind of streaming like that.


Question: "Since you like Lion King so much do you know the hidden meaning behind, I Just Can't wait to be King? Simba wants to be king, but for that to happen Mufasa must be dead at the point of singing. Simba is pretty much saying I can't wait for my Dad to die so I can rule. This is made worse when Scar convinces Simba he killed Mufasa because he wanted it to happen subconsciously"

Answer: LOL that's funny. Damn it, Simba.

Question: "I saw Fighting with my Family and I have a lot of the same thoughts as Tony, but here are somethings he didn't mention? What do you think of Naomi being casted white? Paige speaking IRL not in movie and the match being so much longer in the movie? And AJ had a bodyguard Tamina who wasn't in the film and pissed me off they forgot her. What do you think that they forgot Tamina?"

Answer: One of the characters was supposed to be Naomi in the movie? I didn't catch that at all. They totally skipped over Tamina, but I would have done the same if I were in their shoes.

Question: "What you think of Nikki saying she was in the best shape of her life is when she was dancing, not wrestling?"

Answer: That makes sense. While on the road, it's harder to eat and she's getting beaten up, but with dancing, she probably focuses more on cardio and can rest and such.

Question: "Do you think Daniel Bryan needs new music and look?"

Answer: DEFINITELY. He needs to lose a hair match and trim the goatee, and not have Ride of the Valkyries anymore if he's a heel.

Question: "What match at WrestleMania do you want to see and know you won't? Beer Money Vs American Alpha and John Cena Vs Becky Lynch are my picks."

Answer: Ignoring things like Undertaker vs. Sting, or my idea before of AJ Styles, Finn Balor and The Good Brothers against Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, if we're going with people on the active roster now and all, I'd say AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship, Johnny Gargano vs. Daniel Bryan, Triple H vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Samoa Joe against John Cena, The Rock vs. Roman Reigns and I could go on....

Question: "What do you think of Triple H treating the 5 brands more as a territory rather than a brand?"

Answer: It's the right mentality, but it's also cute that he thinks that that would ever pass under Vince McMahon's control where something like 205 Live is nowhere near in the same league.


Question: "If Roman Reigns is added to the match for the Universal title, would be a fan of that?"

Answer: At this point, I don't want to see it happen, because I think the fans will be irked about it. On a personal level, I'm not excited for Rollins vs. Lesnar at all, but that's because I've seen it before and Reigns vs. Lesnar is something I've seen even more. Lesnar is the problem, not Rollins or Reigns.

Question: "Who do you want to have a biopic that doesn't already?"

Answer: I want to see an American Crime Story on the JonBenet Ramsey death, if that counts. Straight-up biopics about wrestlers, I'd say Ric Flair, Andre the Giant, Mick Foley, Chris Benoit, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart.

Question: "What do you think of The Hardy Boyz reuniting?"

Answer: Very cool! I think at this point in their careers, they're better off being able to tag with each other than having to wrestle in singles matches, as they can still do singles feuds, but they don't have to beat their bodies up as much.

Question: "What do you think of Walter so far?"

Answer: To be honest, I haven't yet watched a single WALTER match.

Question: "Mary, Fuck, Kill: Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X-Pac"

Answer: Marry Billy Gunn, fuck X-Pac and kill Road Dogg?

Question: "Do you think Jimmy Hart will induct Honky Tonk Man?"

Answer: It has to be either Jimmy Hart or Jerry Lawler, right?

Question: "Would you rather be 3 feet shorter or 3 feet taller?"

Answer: Taller.

Question: "Would you rather discover the cure for cancer, or would you rather 100% know if God is real?"

Answer: Selfishly, I'd pick knowing if God is real or not.

Question: "What did you want to be when you were a kid?"

Answer: At different points, if you asked me, you'd get answers of "a house" as well as a "karate expert" and "a scientist" and all sorts of things.

Question: "Favorite kind of eggs? I like scrambled"

Answer: Scrambled is my go-to when I'm eating breakfast food like pancakes and such, but fried eggs are what's up when it comes to sandwiches.

Question: "What did you think of the Oscars (might only be for Tony)?"

Answer: The show worked so much better without a host. I didn't see enough of the movies this year to judge whether or not I agree with most of the winners, but nothing seemed offensively out of place to me. Maybe if I had seen the films, I'd think otherwise. I was hoping for Black Panther to win best picture, though.

Question: "Do you like Valentine's Day?"

Answer: Valentine's Day is too commercial for it to be worth much for me. I think if you only do something to show your loved one that you love them on that day, you don't truly care about them as much as you should.

Question: "Are we going to get predictions/post-show podcasts for all AEW Events?"

Answer: My intention is to make it a regular thing, yeah, but it will all depend on how good it is and how well it fits in with my schedule.
