Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live present WWE SummerSlam 2019 Results

Cruiserweight Championship Match: Drew Gulak (c) vs. Oney Lorcan

RESULT: Drew Gulak retains the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: To be entirely honest, I wasn't 100% focused on this. Other things took priority. But from what I did see, this was a solid match.

Apollo Crews vs. Buddy Murphy

RESULT: Murphy won by disqualification because Rowan attacked him as retaliation for naming him in the Roman Reigns incident.
THOUGHTS: Well, that was a thing.

Elias has a musical performance crapping on Toronto. EDGE comes out and spears him!

Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross (c) vs. The IIconics

RESULT: Bliss and Cross retain the titles by pinfall
THOUGHTS: The match itself isn't something anyone will care about, but I'm glad the titles were featured.

Raw Women's Championship Submission Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Natalya

RESULT: Lynch retained the title with the Dis-arm-her.
THOUGHTS: Good opening match. Not memorable, but I enjoyed it.

Goldberg vs. Dolph Ziggler

RESULT: Goldberg wins by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Total squash, minus the first two superkicks.

After the match, Ziggler talks more trash, so Goldberg spears him again and leaves. Ziggler then grabs a mic again and cuts another promo about how he's the best and will never stay down and anyone can get lucky twice. Goldberg comes back out, picks Ziggler up, and spears him again.

There's a backstage segment with The New Day talking about Randy Orton, and Drake Maverick looking for R-Truth.

United States Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Ricochet

RESULT: Styles retains the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Very cool finish to the match, which I enjoyed, despite how I do feel like it wasn't anything super new (other than that one move Ricochet did where he stepped on Gallows and Anderson to climb over them for a hurricanrana on Styles).

The O.C. laid Ricochet out after the match, just to prove a point.

The Street Profits are backstage. Ric Flair pops up.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Bayley (c) vs. Ember Moon

RESULT: Bayley retains the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Meh...

Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon

RESULT: Owens wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Pretty fun! I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would.

Charlotte Flair vs. Trish Stratus

RESULT: Flair wins by submission
THOUGHTS: Slow.

WWE Championship Match: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Randy Orton

RESULT: Double count-out.
THOUGHTS: Damn it. The ending of this really hindered this segment.

Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor

RESULT: Wyatt wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good entrance that I will be perfectly fine with never seeing again, as it'll only mean less and less as time goes on, and be annoying. But this was fun for tonight.

Universal Championship Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins

RESULT: Rollins wins the title by pinfall!!
THOUGHTS: Well goddamn, way to prove me wrong. I've never been happier to have to rewrite what I had set up in advance. This was a good match and I'm glad the title is back off Lesnar.
