WWE NXT TakeOver: Toronto Results

NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (c) vs. The Undisputed ERA (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly)

RESULT: The Street Profits retain the titles by pinfall
THOUGHTS: It took a while to get started, but it was ultimately a solid match. Very, very surprised at the outcome. I figured this was The Undisputed ERA's time to grab all the belts.

Candice LeRae vs. Io Shirai

RESULT: Io Shirai wins by submission
THOUGHTS: Good match; better than the previous one, overall. I don't know where this is going in the future or if I would have gone with this finish, but I guess we'll see how things play out.

Matt Riddle comes out to the ring and calls for Killian Dain to face him. Dain comes through the crowd and the two start brawling outside the ring. Riddle even takes out the people trying to break them up. Dain splashes Riddle off the stage onto two tables.

Austin Theory is in the crowd. They don't seem to care. The crowd's been so bland tonight!

NXT North American Championship Triple Threat Match: Velveteen Dream (c) vs. Roderick Strong vs. Pete Dunne

RESULT: The Velveteen Dream retains the title by pinfall over Dunne
THOUGHTS: Wow again. Best match so far, and I wasn't thinking Dream would retain the title. Hell of a fun segment. Strong is such a good utility player to throw in there with anyone, Dunne continues to prove how great he is, and Dream is just on another level than most superstars in WWE.

NXT Women's Championship Match: Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Mia Yim

RESULT: Shayna Baszler retains the title by submission
THOUGHTS: Slower than what came before it, but a good match. Yim looked really strong and Baszler got to wrestle a different style match than she normally does, since she was fighting from underneath, rather than on top the whole time.

NXT Championship 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: Adam Cole (c) vs. Johnny Gargano

First Fall (Normal Wrestling Match) goes to Adam Cole by disqualification
Second Fall (Street Fight) goes to Johnny Gargano by submission
Third Fall (Steel Cage) goes to Adam Cole by pinfall

RESULT: Adam Cole retains the title
THOUGHTS: SUCH a good match. Goddamn. Match of the Year candidate. Brutal.
